I called two locksmiths within a few minutes of each other. Stears said they would send someone shortly. Then another I received another call and wasn’t sure if it was the person from Stears or the other locksmith. When I called Stears back to confirm, the person I first spoke to became angry, rude, and said “I’m not going to try to get there faster than someone else”. I attempted to clarify that I was confused about the second call and wanted him to come. He hung up on me and didn’t pick up when I called back. I should have read the prior one star reviews here. Do not use this provider.
Good service. Incredibly expensive. He just worked 30 mins to install my nest lock and charged $230$! He used to have honest prices now he said that gas is expensive note that he drove 1 mile :.
Hello Stears Locksmith came to my rescue this morning. He was a very nice man, very polite and proffesional and was also calming me down as i was very upset that i had locked myself out, he put me at ease and the women he was with was very nice and supportive. He talked me through all the options in a clear and concise way before starting any work on my front door. He completed the job quickly and efficiently whilst talking me through step by step and also installing a new lock perfectly. Overall experience with Stears locksmith was top notch and i would highly recomend. Thank you so much!!
Peter with Stears Locksmith & Safe Services saved my day! I locked the keys in my car the night before and couldn’t find the spare. I was referred by a friend and called Peter who drove all the way to Montauk from Sag Harbor in an hour during the summer. Just called to get a quote and because he didn't understand what I needed done the first time around, he rudely asked me to clarify and before I even got a chance to, he hung up on me. Extremely unprofessional.
