Description

We are a Full Service Tavern Restaurant Established in 1993. We offer Homemade Specialties which include Burgers, Pizza, Steaks, Seafood, Traditional Pasta Dishes, Soups/Salad Bar and Desserts.
We offer a clean and comfortable Dining Area for up to 60 people. We maintain a clean and well stocked 20 seat Horseshoe Bar with Two Mega Touch Video Game Machines and a separate Game Area with Two Pool Tables.

I am so glad we stopped here!! It was like visiting friends. The food is all home made per order, and it was very good. They have a soup and salad bar. The soup was delicious. The drinks and beer were cold and served in iced mugs. The Stuffed Tilapia was very good. The crab stuffed flounder was also excellent. But most of all I loved the totally relaxed vibe. Go here to hang out, relax, and de-stress. Don't go here in a hurry. If you are visiting and looking for a place near Jim Thorpe, and don't mind a little drive, go find this place, you will be glad you did!! I will be going back for sure.
A lovely place for a delicious family meal. We enjoy the pork chops and the chicken piccata most of all! And the potato soup last week was the best we had in a very long time. It's so hard finding creamy soups that are milk free!
Ed and his wife run a great restaurant. One of my favorite places to eat. Food is reasonably priced. The only negative thing is you have to be patient waiting for food as Kathy is the only cook in the kitchen. I always recommend to my friends.
Probably one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. The soda was completely flat, my "boneless wings" were just chicken nuggets and on top of that the wait was outrageous. We got here at 6pm and got our food at 8:50pm. Almost 3 hours to get chicken nuggets that tasted like the ones in the freezer at Walmart. Please do not waste your money, go literally anywhere else.

Decent place out of the way. Good food. But not somewhere to go if you mind waiting. Took quite a while to get our food. Arrived around 7:20 or so and got our entrees around 8:35. Decently priced. Atmosphere is very rustic. Comfort food. Mac and cheese is excellent.
Still Creek Tavern & Restaurant In Tamaqua, Pennsylvania has the very best locally fresh foods Ever as there dinner for 2 of yummy sirloin steaks and loaded baked potatoes with homemade soups to salads and tasty desserts every along beer and water will be back here again ty all as this place is truly a hidden gem Since 30 years running
Fantastic atmosphere and great food. The owners and staff are husband and wife and run a great place. Soups, burgers, and more are here. I enjoy everytime i come in and its well worth every penny.
Ed and Kathy are wonderful. We always enjoy eating there and talking to them. Food is great. Kathy makes the best french onion soup, hands down!
Pleasantly surprised. Clean, comfortable, great prices, good home cooked foods. Separate dining room entrance and family friendly. Will go again.
