Edit: The theater is upgrading their lobby and auditoriums, so it should look great when it's done! It's a fine theater. The standard seats are old and definitely not comparable to the updated recliners found elsewhere or even in this very theater's premium Dolby auditorium. The IMAX seats are the same as standard, but I don't mind because IMAX is such a great experience maybe even better than Dolby, imo. Not the most modern or up to date theater around, but the staff is nice and it's usually not too crowded if you're looking for a more quiet and empty showing.
Under construction. High quality AMC concessions. Was fairly empty on a blockbuster's second Friday. Seat was OK although reclining function was weird, needs to move back further before legs can go up... Good sound. Not Atmos but I'll take it.
Came all the way from Racine Wisconsin to see a movie in this theater! They are currently remodeling, but still getting people through quickly. Some of the friendliest staff I have seen at a theater. If you are in the area, and want to see a movie, this is the place.
Came to see Avatar 2 in 3D, Ppace looks like a dump, seats don’t recline all the way back or recline for your feet to go all the way up. The 3D glasses provided are FILTHY, SMUDGED, and NOT SANITIZED IN A PACKAGE like other theaters. This is DISGUSTING especially with Covid. How am I supposed to put these in my face? There’s nobody here, I’m not even sure how they’re in business. I tried to bring my water in my tumbler and security wouldn’t let me. They only sell chemical cancer causing toilet Dasani water. DISGUSTING!!!!!!! I will never go here again. I never had this problem bringing my water into any other theater. I will never be back to an AMC theater. I wish I could give ZERO STARS!!!
The entire theater is filthy dirty. Sticky soda pop all over the place. Every seat is unsanitary with various human excrements, food and sticky liquids. The manager is in need of training in customer service department as well. Horribly rude people when addressing the filth problem.
Hey @iamsrk watched Pathan at AMC Stony Brook, NY USA @AMCTheatres. There was no background Music, songs also without music. Manager told this is how they play all the shows. Great movie being ruined by worst theater experience. Hope your team will take care of user experience.
IMAX is great and the reclining seats are fantastic. Being able to reserve seating in advance is wonderful.
The staff is so friendly! Clint is so accommodating, nice, eager to help and really cares about every person who walks into the theater. He really made me & my husbands date night so special when he rectified a situation regarding our tickets. Gabriel who works security is also super sweet and helpful. We'll continue to drive from West Islip to this theater just based off the friendliness and kindness alone! The Dolby theater was amazing and clean. Thank you, Clint & all the staff who works here. Your hard work does not go unnoticed :
The Staff are so helpful and pleasant to work with. The movie theaters could use updating like many of the newer theaters. It could use extra attention when cleaning floors were a bit sticky however it would be better if the customers could be more careful with their drinks, popcorn and snacks! Just saying!!! We enjoy watching the movie at this theater
IMAX is where you want to see your movies. The upgraded seats are very comfortable.
