Stony Point Retreat Center

Great place, great people, great food. Everyone who lives/works at the center is always so joyful and willing to go out of their way to make your time there fruitful and enjoyable. The rooms--doubles with a sink and a few shower and toilet tooms per wing--are typical of a retreat center and are always clean. Heating and A/C systems work well. Food, homemade and much grown at the center, is delicious and the staff goes above and beyond providing gluten free and vegan options for those who need them. They even baked a birthday cake when they overhead it was the birthday of one of our group's members. Meeting facilities are clean and well-maintained.

Super Friendly & helpful staffers, this place is a conference center & healthy lifestyle retreat. The Fair Trade gift shop is highly diverse, gardens & beekeeping at the center. Plenty of space to grab a quiet moment in nature while festive gatherings and suited conferences are held. Google maps got me there, and I was pleasantly surprised & felt comfortable due to the hospitality once inside. Signs of diversity and positive messages included!!!

We had a great experience at this retreat center. It's in a quiet area of NY, and the retreat center's grounds are very peaceful, with a nice meditation building. The food was great and very healthy, some of it locally grown. The rooms are dorm-like with concrete walls and shared bathrooms in the hallway. Not a lot to do in the nearby town, but that's not usually why you go to a retreat center.

The bathrooms are shared, though each room that we stayed in had a sink. If we anticipated that the rooms would be a step up from camping cabins when we expected a hotel, it might have scored better from us. The people are friendly and accommodations were 2 star hotel quality. They do include a hot breakfast.

I appreciated the simplicity of the facility and food service. The rooms are comfortable without being lavish, the food is delicious, healthy, and lovingly presented. The interfaith mission of the Center pervades all of their hospitality. I wish there were a similar facility near where I live.

Stony Point is a breath of fresh air for when you’re looking to retreat from your daily routine and stress. The staff is very accommodating and the food is very good – home-style, tasty and plentiful. The rooms are somewhat spartan, but clean.

Great place to get away from the city and relax. Organic food served is delicious! Meditation center available. There is a wonderful feeling of peace and tranquility all over this place. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. Loved it!

I love Stony Point Center. I have been a retreatant there for almost 20 years. I recommend it for a small, medium or large group or for an lovely overnight as a couple or family or with a friend. There are several lodging options. The staff and food are wonderful and the grounds are just lovely.

Great vegan selection of food. Great open campus. Most rooms were newly renovated as well as some showers. Good experience overall for a retreat.

I loved this place!!!!! My job just had a retreat there and it was amazing!! The food is sooooooo good! I was pleasantly surprised!!! The rooms were nice and clean!! Heat and AC plus fans were provided!!! Definitely going back! If not for anything else, I’ll go for the food!!
