I did not appreciate the cleanliness of the unit nor the restroom.  They initially misguided me regarding the hours of operation.  They told me what the office hours are and for a long period of time, it was my understanding that the office hours were the same as the access hours!  I noticed dry puddle spots in or outside of the units.  The lights sometimes do not work.  I did not appreciate the comment that it is not a half-way house nor a motel.  There is a large garbage receptacle near the entrance which I didn't notice until finally moving my belongings out.  You can not store sentimental items and STOR-N-LOCK is not responsible for any acts of God, as per stated in the contract.  You can get insurance if you want for an additional monthly fee.  You are required to submit a written letter fifteen days before moving out of your unit.  They are somewhat lenient of that requirement.  Make sure that all of the information is correct before you sign your contract.  You'll want to look for errors such as spelling, grammar and/or contact information.  I once was $2.00 short and I luckily, had checked my receipts and caught the error.  In doing such, I paid the additional $2.00 to so that I could avoid being locked out of my unit and the late fees.  You'll want to think about the long-term cost versus storing your items elsewhere versus just getting rid of your goods altogether.  I was always worried that someone would break into my unit.  There are cameras.  Of course, someone would have to know your access code in order to enter the gate.  The security is pretty good too!  They are concerned about your safety and well-being!  They are pretty tolerable as well!  You can just simply pay online or you can submit the payment in person.

We buy storage units at auction and normally never have issues with other storage facilities but this place is untrustworthy to say the least. I highly recommend you do not use this facility especially if you buy one from auction. They will likely sell it to someone else after it says you won the bid, go through it themselves, you might drive an hour to get there and have them say it's cancelled after you paid the auctions for it, and they will likely be rude on the phone.

I've rented at the Taylorsville unit for the last five years or more.  The managers are the ones who make the experience. These managers have always been very helpful, kind and personable. The units are always clean and well-kept.

Very friendly staff they showed me around and were very kind while doing so they also made me feel secure about having my stuff their definitely will recommend them to any of my friends or anyone in general if they are looking for a storage place

I'm not sure everyone is saying the staff is friendly is true. The storage place is decent, but I am extremely uncomfortable with the owner's attitude; after I review the posts, I believe he is George.  He is a Caucasian guy probably in his early 60. He is extremely rude; he even goes after you when you don't let him go first at the intersection within the storage site. He tries to educate me and pick on me on everything. I initially didn't want to say this, but his attitude was racist.  Based on reviewing the posts, I believe he is living on the storage site. I understand you want to protect your property and keep people behaving. But you don't use an attitude like you are the king and you can tell people using the storage unit whatever you want condescendingly and judgmentally.  What he was doing is like people being obnoxious and going after you when you did not entirely stop at a stop sign.  Please consider this a serious matter. I feel extremely uncomfortable with what I experienced.

My visit to Stor-N-Lock was very carefree and enjoyable.  Gayle & Gearge was extremely helpful and a joy to talk to. They made the closing of my unit very easy and stress free. From my short visit, came to know she is a wonderful person. Stop by. Believe me, it will be worth it! George and Gayle are a rare find. Sincerely, Bonnie

This couple are amazing. They run quite a large operation And business. I salute them for having to put up with folk such as myself. Nice and clean. The units could use lights however. Also I was billed for a month after I told them I was leaving the unit. Waiting for 2 weeks and have not been credited with a refund.

The management was very nice, but the continuous rate raises every 3-6 months was a little outrageous. I started at a fair price and every few months it kept going up. I ended up finding one that was half the price and bigger

Gail was delightful and made me feel like I was storing my stuff with family! Great prices too can’t go wrong Store here people!!!!!!!
