Welcome to Storrowton Tavern, a landmark area restaurant located on the grounds of the Eastern States Exposition, operated by the Calvanese Family. With over 45 years of experience in the hospitality industry, our goal is to treat our visitors as company and valued friends.
We offer traditional New England and continental cuisine in an elegant and historic setting. Five unique dining rooms furnished with period antiques and family heirlooms can accommodate your party of 2 to 125. In addition we offer beautifully landscaped grounds, terraced patios and an upscale banquet facility that can serve 350 guests. Enjoy lunch or dinner in front of one of our three fireplaces, gather with friends in our authentic New England tavern or listen to live music under the stars throughout summer on our patio.

Our beautifully landscaped grounds, including a gazebo and an array of historic buildings, offer numerous locations for your wedding photos. Weddings can feature a dinner banquet, stations, a buffet, or a cocktail and hors d’oeuvres reception. Ceremonies may be held at the Meeting House, a historic, non-denominational church on the Storrowton Village grounds, or in one of our elegant dining or banquet rooms.

History
Storrowton Village Museum is an authentic re-created village of nine 18th and 19th century buildings. These structures moved from various New England locations have been reassembled surrounding a beautiful village green typical of colonial days.
A tour of the village offers an intimate look at early American living. A staff of costumed interpreters provides insight into the 19th century lifestyle as they play the roles of villagers. Storrowton Tavern is located in the village and serves traditional New England fare year round.
The tavern is comprised of two antique buildings. The Atkinson Tavern (c. 1789) once stood in Prescott, Massachusetts. The tavern, original owner, John Atkinson, was one of the last surviving revolutionary war veterans. He used the building as a store and tavern and a home to his family
Comfortable fireplaces and beautiful paneling still grace this fine example of early American architecture. The Baptist meeting house (c. 1822) was brought to the village from Southwick, Massachusetts in 1930 and joined to the tavern in 1957, doubling the size of the restaurant.
Across the green is the Carriage House, a modern banquet facility that can accommodate up to 350 people. Storrowton Tavern, the Carriage House and Storrowton Village all combine to create a unique and memorable setting for your most important gatherings.
