The Strawn Chamber of Commerce was founded in 2012 to advance and promote the economic environment for business, to advocate responsive government and quality education and to improve the quality of life for all citizens of Strawn and the surrounding area, while preserving the positive, unique community characteristics of Strawn, Palo Pinto County & the region.
The Strawn Historical Museum was created to protect, preserve, record, and share the rich history and heritage of Strawn's early settlers. The Museum houses a varied collection of photos, newspapers, stories from residents, furnishings and artifacts from homes and businesses dating back to the areas settlement in the 1850's.
