I have had the pleasure of fishing with Captain Jim twice during my visits to Hilton Head Island, and I am eagerly planning another trip as soon as possible. Captain Jim has consistently shown utmost professionalism, and his wealth of experience ensures that we always have successful fishing outings. The best part is, he now has a bigger boat, which means more room for everyone to enjoy the fishing experience comfortably. I must say, Captain Jimmy Clark is truly an awesome guy, and his company makes the whole trip a blast. One of the highlights of our fishing trips is the delightful post-fishing ritual where we head to a local restaurant to have some of the catch cooked up by the chefs. The taste of the freshly caught fish combined with a few cocktails is the perfect way to end a perfect day. I genuinely can't wait to get back on the Stray Cat II and head out fishing again with Captain Jimmy Clark. It's always a thrilling and enjoyable adventure!
Captain Jim and his mate Jim were just terrific when we engaged them to take us bottom fishing. We absolutely slayed the fish and came home with a boat full. This is the third time we have used Jim and he's always great. His new boat Strat Cat 2 is wonderful. We were in 6 foot seas and it handled really well. Hire Stray Cat 2 to catch fish and have a great time.
I can't put into words how Captain Jim and Desmond treated my wife and I. I was very impressed with their knowledge of the area. I really appreciate captain Jim/Dez, they recognized that we were on vacation and they made sure we had a great time. The stray cat is a very comfortable/ clean boat.....and we changed all of that after our fishing tour with all the Fish we Caught baby!!! They arranged for the restaurant to prepare for our evening meal succulent!indeed.
We have been fishing with Jim for the last 10 years now and is always the highlight of our vacation! Easy to talk to, great coach, very professional, and makes sure everyone has a great time and catches fish! Will continue to come back and highly recommend
We had a great time on Jim's boat this morning. We had adults and children. Jim and his first mate, Jay, were terrific. Jim found a great spot for catching fish and everyone in our group caught some. My granddaughter 12, caught the biggest fish at 13 pounds. After the trip, Dockside restaurant cooked the fish and we ate a first class lunch! We will be back.
Jim and Ike did a fantastic job of making us all feel comfortable and assuring we caught as many fish as possible. They were patient and helpful with my novice level of fishing skills.The boat was awesome, clean ,and very comfortable. We were all ready to take another charter with Stray Cat Charters and would recommend Captain Jim to anyone who wants to have a great and successful day of fishing.
We had an absolute blast on the Stray Cat earlier this month, two adults and two 12 year old boys. Captain Jim and First Mate Desmond were phenomenal. They kept us on the fish all day long, our freezers are still packed full of fish. I highly recommend to anyone looking for a top notch fishing charter. My Dad, wife, 8 yr old son, and I went out with Capt Jimmy and Eric. My son was in awe from the time the cast net brought in more fish than i have caught in my life and it didn't stop there. We had an incredible time with nonstop action. I must say it was one of the best experiences I've had if only to see the joy of my sons face when he reeled in multiple sharks, sting rays, Jack Gravelle, my biggest fish Red fish which was to big to keep, among many Blue fish. Dockside prepared the shark and Blues for us which was amazing. I highly recommend these guys and look forward to the next time with them. Thanks Guys.
My dad, my 8 year old son, and I went out for a 4 hour fishing trip with Captain Jim and Tim. They were great and went out od their way to make sure we had an awesome trip. Tim was a great host while we headed out to our spot. We learned a lot about hilton head and fishing in the area. Once we got out to our spot, Captain Jim put us on the fish right away. My son brought in 3 bluefish and my Dad and I caught 8 sharks, including a 35 pound black tip that we had for lunch at skull creek boathouse! We had a great trip and will definitely book with the stray cat again next time we need a hilton head fishing trip!
This was our first trip to Hilton Head and Capt. Jim and Dez made the fishing trip the highlight! Amazing experience and first class all the way. While most charters could chalk your group as a bunch of tourists, Stray Cat did the opposite. Capt. Jim was able to secure us a table at a local restaurant to cook up our 50lb Cobia, came by our table at dinner to check on us and even an evening text to see how it all went. I would fly back to HHI just to fish with these amazing guys. First Class all the way! Thank you both so much.
