I joined this gym last year, and I am very impressed by how welcoming it is for newcomer like myself. The community here is highly focused on their workout sessions, but those I have encountered have been more than happy to help me out and give me advice on improving my works outs. Highly recommend for those who are looking to continue their fitness journey here.
Just a reliable spot to get it done. Great gym has everything you need and everyone, staff and members, all friendly and in there to improve their quality of life. For me I love that there is a sauna great quality.
It’s a bad joke of a gym. Know people who have memberships here and they bring their guest with them. Which in their contract shows they are allowed to bring one free guest. No restrictions on the amount of times either. But the owner will harass and constant threats about they need to get a membership. He even takes their keys or driver license to keep them leaving without talking to him first. Messed up guy no doubt.
I have been with the gym for a decade now. Cleanliness is good, multiple locations, staff is wonderful and if you ever have an issue they're very quick to fix it!!
1st place me and my family always choose to go when we are in the area. The owner is very nice and I like all the different and unique types of equipment the gym has to offer that you don’t see at allot of other gyms. As well as great atmosphere and music. Highly recommend this gym.
Best gym in southwest Michigan by far. This gym has all the latest workout equipment that you generally don't see at most gyms. The owner Aaron is a wealth of knowledge and helped me become a world champion lifter. The gym atmosphere is amazing and everyone there is eager to help and see you hit your goals. I use to travel over an hour round trip just to train here, that's how good it is.
Old school style gym with the metal plates gotta love it. More local gym, so it’s not as packed like PF or others. Employees are welcoming and will answer any questions from fitness to other questions about their other locations. Highly recommend especially if you don’t like crowded gyms
The main reason I sign up is because it's open 24/7 , I can work out any time I want without worries of the time. Is in a good location with access to the parking lot through 2 sides, friendly staff and good music. Reasonable prices. BTW I love the parrot they have in the cage, she is very curious and love to watch people pass by.

I have recently returned to Strength Beyond after working out and failing at my office gym and briefly at Planet Fitness during the time my membership ended at SB until now. I’d like to say: There is no gym like SB in the area. The staff are very helpful and willing to answer questions about anything from form to best practices for getting the most out of a machine to general nutrition while working out. These people are fitness professionals and world class trainers who are approachable, reasonable and encouraging. The gym itself has everything I need to get a maximum workout in the most efficient time. I like the split level facility as I can train on the machines upstairs while my son uses the weights on the first floor. Also, Aaron was very helpful and responsive in getting me set up to win again. He answered all my questions and worked with me to make sure my membership was a custom build to fit my needs and the needs of my family. I’m very grateful to live in a community with this amazing facility within walking distance. My only regret is having not renewed my membership when it expired the first time.
