Strong Wings provides year-round outdoor adventure programming for Nantucket’s youth.
Since Strong Wings was incorporated in 1991, our mission has been to provide outdoor adventure programming for Nantucket’s youth which promotes active lifestyles and physical fitness, builds strength, confidence, and character, fosters new friendships, and encourages respect and appreciation for nature.
Strong Wings works with children of all ages, abilities, needs, and backgrounds. We offer a wide variety of activities and experiences including rock climbing, high and low ropes course exercises, kayaking, gardening, cooperative games, team building, and explorations of the island’s diverse outdoor environments.
An integral part of the Nantucket community, Strong Wings plays a vital role in the development of Nantucket’s youth. We are deeply committed to creating programs and curricula that help young people discover and realize their full potential.
