This island is very well cared for and the campsites are nice. The composting toilets don't seem prepared for large groups but do the job. Ours came with a free laxative and attendant. He was a little creepy but kept out of the way. Great sunsets and sunrises. Docks were packed but everyone and their dogs were great!
Beautiful picturesque island. It's always very busy in the summer. Facilities are excellent and well kept. Lots of hiking trails to take you all over the island and beautiful viewpoints everywhere.
One of my favorite happy places in the world. I’ve been here on busy holidays and still had plenty of room to anchor. Also been here and was the only one. Cell phone reception in Echo Bay is good. Lovely hikes. Washington state park with some scattered camping sites. Pack out what you bring in. Please keep it nice for all of us. Bird watching, seals, sea lions, and huckleberries in season. So much to enjoy.
Beautiful Island. We stopped for a picnic lunch and did some exploring. Nice place to do a bit of hiking and spaces to camp. Nice little beach to walk on or to swim if you can handle the icy salt water. We waded in. Very clean and has composting toilets open to use.
My husband and I spent a few days on sucia two years ago on the Ewing Bay. Today we came back again and on the same days . but on the Shallow Bay. We did not plan for the same day. But things happen sometimes. We love it
Absolutely gorgeous island with many campsites and places to anchor a boat. Sandy beaches are nice except for all the yellow jackets and the water is shallow enough to play and swim in. Family friendly with lots of room and shade as well as relatively nice pit toilets not far in the woods. Rock formations along the shore are a lot of fun to explore.
Sucia island is why you live in or visit Washington state. It showcases some of the best trails, sunsets, wildlife viewing and of course sailing there is! Ample campsites on land and plenty of options to tuck you boat in at one of many bays.
Beautiful boat-in island with easy hiking trails, tide pools, wildlife. Very few amenities. Anchor or reserve a mooring buoy.
Great views! Played on the paddle board. Took the dinghy to the beach and the kiddos checked out the tidepools! Ended the night eating dinner to this gorgeous view from Echo Bay. Simply beautiful.
Great island to camp on. A couple of short easy hikes, fantastic views on any side of Sucia. Always busy and you need to get there early for a decent spot. Cove to leave your boat is also very well protected.
