This place needs to be a shut down. The staff is rude, unknowledgeable, and very offensive. I've been going there for years and insurance and payment has never been an issue. The staff changes frequently and they make it seem like they're doing you a favor by providing a needed service. It's a shame how much they've gone down. A word of advice to Summit Family Dentistry. I started going to this practice since I was 21, I never had a complain, unfortunately the Doctor hired an Asian dentist who was very fast and agile but who does not work well. she did my treatment and after 6 months I had to get it done again plus other damages caused by the malpractice. Think twice before going there please.
So far so good. I came here years ago when I had serious problems with my teeth and had a lovely, gentle, caring, Asian lady dentist. I never had a problem. Never had to wait long. Never had problems getting an appointment. My insurance changed and I changed dentists. Now I'm back with my bf who is visiting for the first time. We called Monday and got an appointment Wednesday. They were considerate enough to ask if he had pain so as to better know how to schedule him. The cleaning he got was half-assed at best. They also fell short when they failed to call with a follow-up appointment for a root canal. No bueno! We'll be going elsewhere moving foward.
The staff put me on their cancellation list. They called me back the following day and I was seen later that afternoon. I was super scared since I have a cracked tooth and it's been ages since I've been to a dentist. The staff and dentist were all very accommodating and friendly. I have complete trust in this dentist. I'm so relieved to have found a great dentist. Best of all it was pain free!
This office and they way they are ran, is ridiculous! I came there knowing I needed a root canal. They took x-rays and told me due to the fact that I have Medicaid I have to get approved for it. Which will take about 2 weeks. In the meantime I went for fill ins & the dr.who did those she was always in a rush, Jessie manner wasn't the best nor the worse. After my fill ins. My pain from the tooth I needed a root canal on would come and go. I've called them and was always told the Dr who does the root canal we have to get yu an appointment. I've called them from looking for an appointment. Left messages and everything! These folks here had the audacity to call me 6/19/17 to finally give me an appointment for 6/22/17 @2pm. Today .. 6/22167 @ approx.12:10pm they call me nd tell me the dr.that is doing the root canal says I need to go see a specialist so i can come and pick up the referral. How on living earth is that possible? They've had my x-rays for all over 3 months nd they're just now saying I need to go see a specialist. This place is beyond pathetic and I wouldn't even recommend my worst enemy here!!!
The staff is Courteous. Dr. Lee is professional, well mannered and competent. I was in need of two filling replacements, bonding on several teeth below the gum line due to over brushing, one 30 year old cap replacement and a night guard. All proceeded without delay nor unnecessary pain.
Don't go there .. there will do very bad and lousy job. on the top of that they are dishonest and will not reimburse you even after they agree on reimbursing. they overcharge as long as you have insurance .. not professional dentists. not professional staff . dishonesty at its best .. the worst dental visit ..
I waited two months for an appointment and took off from work only to get there and find out the office does not take my insurance after their scheduler told me that they do. Thet should seek new help immediately.
This place is horrible no good customer service. They don't know how to speak to people I won't recommend I was looking for a dentist stat who takes my insurance and it's the worst experience I waited 2 hours to be taken care of. Then got in the chair to tell me that they have call my insurance before anything has to be done really? I'm not recommending this place.
They never pick up the phone. When they finally do, they put you on hold just to hang up a few minutes later.
