CAP is the auxiliary of the US Air Force, whose primary areas of focus are aerospace education, cadet programs and emergency services.
Our squadron meets most every Sunday from 1:30 to 4:30 at the Sumner County Regional Airport located at 1475 Airport Road, Gallatin, TN 37066.
When you come into the airport follow the access road to the right and we are located in the last row of hangars. Please park at the end of the hangars in the grass. Please do not park in the taxiways around the hangars.
Each week contains a different focus, alternating between: aerospace education; leadership development; emergency services; safety education; character development; drill and ceremonies and physical training.
Additional activities include: powered orientation flights and glider flights for cadets; search and rescue training weekends; qualified cadets and senior members may participate in actual missions; encampments; cyber patriot completion; professional development training; color/honor guard and many other opportunities.
Supporting America's communities with emergency response, diverse aviation and ground services, youth development, and promotion of air, space and cyber power.
