I have been using this pharmacy for more than 10 years. Actually, since they opened. Other than a bump in the road here and there, I have stayed with them even after a half dozen moves. In fact, I moved last month but I will continue to go to Sun Discount because in the end, they have always proven to be faster, better and nicer than all the others I have tried. This is a quality establishment where the owner seems to oversee everything to make sure you are treated right. All of the staff treat you well and I've never had an issue. You can rely on this pharmacy for sure.

Since recommended I've gone no place else. Professional, personal fasr care. Excellent low prices. family owned your treated like you're part of the family. Willing to take the time to teach and explain.  Always quick service even the owner gets involved. I feel like I have someone in my corner.  One issue parking is very limit. However they make up for it every other way. Like me plz new place it is so nice

What’s not to like. Staff was very responsive. My prescriptions were filled promptly and the prices are amazing.  I needed two different eye drops for my cataract surgery. Publix wanted almost $600. I got them at Sun discount pharmacy for less than $200.

I've been going to sun pharmacy for a few years now, and they have always went above and beyond exceeding customer service. They are timely, knowledgeable, and compassionate.  I have to mention that the Manager, Glendy has to be the nicest manager I've ever met. Even when they are slammed, she never makes you feel like a bother, takes time to figure out any questions or concerns, and when she says she will get something done, she does it right away.  They didn't ask me to review, but I had to show a token of my appreciation in some way. Im a firm believer that businesses deserve recognition, especially when there is so much competition in this town. I highly recommend this pharmacy.

I love this pharmacy so much. The staff are incredibly kind, caring and passionate. I choose this pharmacy over big brand pharmacies because they treat me like a human, they make eye contact and always greet me with a smile. Whenever there have been errors, its because of the big pharmacies, this is why I recommend this pharmacy to everyone in Sarasota! They care and love!

Horrible customer service rude nothing but attitude I had my doctor e-scribe my prescription to Sun Pharmacy called after about 2 hours to find out when it would be ready the pharmacist told me it was not available in the strength that was prescribed but he could fill it in a different strength combination so I call my Dr. explain the situation he calls in the prescription the way the pharmacist asked.  I call back 4 hours later and speak with very rude and disrespectful staff member who proceeds to tell me they are now refusing to fill the prescription I ask to speak to the pharmacist I spoke with earlier and she refuses to connect me and begins speaking to me as though I was not understanding the words she was saying absolutely unprofessional wasting my time and my doctors time.  Funny thing I am an emergency room manager and I don't think I will have very good reviews or recommendations to pass on to my clients about their poor customer service and the fact they don't follow through with what they say they will do.  I will also be contacting their management to place a formal complaint.

I have used this pharmacy for some time, and frankly it saddens me to have to write this review. I went into the pharmacy to pick up a prescription, and at the same time requested that they refill a compounded prescription. I told them that I was going out of the country for several weeks and that I would pick it up the day before I left. I called the day I was due to pick it up, and they had neglected to fax it to my doctor for authorization. My doctor is now on vacation, and I am without a much-needed prescription for my trip oversees. I will not be returning...

I absolutely love this pharmacy they are always a huge help and very respectful and polite. There employee Glendy specifically is always a huge helping hand for me always going above and beyond and putting the customer before anything else which I love the most. She is extremely nice and is always saying hi to my daughter and making her laugh whenever I’m in the drive thru or whenever I walk inside. She is great and I hope the business recognizes the HARD drive she puts forth for the company. Glendy is really one of the main reasons I enjoy my experience coming to get my prescriptions from there. But as a company in general very hard working very professional and I wouldn’t go to any other pharmacy. They have my respect all the way and I will refer any family friends or coworkers to Sun discount pharmacy.  - Tyler Havens
