Dr. Rios always is so kind and thoughtful. She does not make you feel “less than” as a pet owner for not financially being able to approve all of the recommended services. I appreciate that. Vet tech Justin is outstanding. He was very caring toward my baby girl. He made her feel comfortable, which made me comfortable! As a pet owner for 30 years, and my pups patients at Sun Valley Animal Hospital for those 30 years, I cannot imagine taking them anywhere else. Simply the BEST!
We had a wonderful first experience during our visit for Tikka. Everyone was so friendly. Macy was great with all our questions and helpful info ! Dr Barker took his time to examine and give great tips and instruction to care for our puppy.
I had not been able to take my dog and cat to the vet for quite a while since COVID and then having a baby, so was worried how my very anxious/reactive large dog would handle being back at a vet. Dr. Barker and Justina made sure I was comfortable bringing them in and were incredibly thorough with answering any questions I had. They made both of my pets so comfortable also that neither was upset to be examined! Everything went incredibly smoothly and they helped me get my pets safely back to the car without having to encounter any other dogs per my request. Heavily recommend this group, will be using for all pet issues!
I brought my 8 week old Golden Retriever to Sun Valley Animal Hospital and was so pleased with the great staff. Everyone greeted Sandy on her first Vet visit to make her comfortable! Dr Gold was very thorough and checked her over completely. She received her vaccines and complimentary nail trim too. Very pleased.
Whiskers my cat is a rescue. The staff at Sun Valley have been awesome with us. I am a first time Cat Mom and they have been so helpful. Dr. Barker was so informative about cats. The last time we visited the front desk staff came to see Whiskers, see how he was doing. I recommend them.
I absolutely loved how the staff treated my pet. My appointment was enjoyable and the tech explained everything clearly. The pricing was reasonable. My pet loves going to his vet. Sun Valley has been our vet since we moved here 5 years ago. Thank you Dr. Barker and the staff for the love shown to Dr. Bob!
Of all my years seeking care for my pets, Sun Valley is the best vet clinic by far. Dr. Barker was very thorough and he even addressed an issue we weren’t there for. The cost of upcoming visits and procedures was presented to me prior to proceeding to our next steps. To me, this is huge. Dr Barker was also very amicable and I didn’t feel rushed like I have with other vet clinic experiences. The staff is friendly and thorough as well, making sure instructions for continued care were presented and understood. They also reached out to me to see how my boy was after a procedure. The clinic is very clean and easy to find. Plenty of parking. We were also seen in a timely manner. Their office is a smooth running machine. I highly recommend them and so grateful to them all.
Great friendly staff and super clean facility. We were in for a simple yearly check-up, but the Doctor and Nurses all really took time to explain what they were doing and why, and to give us great info to keep our baby healthy. Highly recommend!
Having some experience with veterinary hospitals I have to say that Dr. Barker and the staff here are exceptional. Even in delivering the worst of news they do so with care and clarity, taking the time to go over every option and explaining each. Sadly my experience with Sun Valley Animal Hospital ended on my second visit and we are all still hurting from the loss. Looking back I recognize the compassion and mercy shown by everyone working here and if you are considering bringing you furry friend here, please do so as you will not find a better facility devoted to the health and well-being of your pet. Thank you Dr. Barker & staff.
