This is such a nice quiet trailer park to live in. Only issue I have are the broken washers in the laundry room. They have four but only one kinda works, the lid falls off and you have to pry something under the lid in order to operate machine. If you have four and only one kinda works, might be time to cannibalize one of them in order to fix the other three.
I want to give a shout out to Faith for doing a total 180 at this park. She has done an AMAZING job making it go from a place you want to stay away from to a place you want to move in. All of these people who are giving bad reviews talking about drugs or whatever are the people who are the ones bringing in the drugs and got evicted and are just mad that Faith got rid of them. She made the community safer. She is literally so nice and just wants everyone to feel safe where they live and I have spoke with multiple residents who all agree. She has gone above and beyond helping others.
I have no complaints. Faith is wonderful to deal with. Great with conversation. I get along with all the neighbor's. I would move my mother into this place. 5 stars. Everyone wants to leave a review when they get upset but no one's given a viable reason to get upset. Also after owning a home in this park for nearly 2 year's now, never had an issue with any bugs except a few ants.
My dad lived here and LOVED it. Community foke wanted him to be their Sheriff b/c he cared so much about people and their right to have their plot, be respected, and live in peace. But mgmnt said thanks "but wole settle for you strappin on yer nice yella Git-tar and an Harmonica n playing us a song or two Instead" so That's what he did. That and lotza walkin and walkin while humming up another new song...
I have visited the park multiple times different times of the day. It’s always quiet and park seems some what well maintained. I can’t speak on the homes the park sell but as an investor we ensure newly renovated homes with new fixtures and appliances. We also debug and treat all our homes prior to selling them. I’ve worked with Faith and haven’t had any issues as of yet. I do know sometimes her delay is due to corporate and not her own intentions
I must say if you believe in wasting money and time this is your place. The manager is never their and doesn't do anything in a timely or professional manner. I spent $90 on application fees and got denied for a minor legal issue from over 10yrs ago which was not towards anyone or community and never got a call to be informed of this, I had to call over and over until she was one day in the office. Furthermore as we dropped off applications she was evicting a drug house only because they owed back rent not for the right reasons . There was drug paraphernalia, used needles in both units we applied for, but overlooked it thinking the place had turned a corner do to new management.
Just so everyone knows stay away from lakeshore management. The own a lot of the mobile home parks in the area. I moved out over six months ago and did all the paperwork correctly and I'm being served with an eviction for a place I sold and there manager was fired and I've gone back and forth with these corporate and no one returns calls. I asked secretary for her name today and she hung up on me. I'm livid. ... I lived there for 2.6 years and this is how they treat people who move out. I'm not the only one that this has happen to . Have lived in this park for almost 5 years now and to be quite frank the Drugs in this park are absolutely rediculaus. But the bugs Termites and German cockroaches are a whole other problem. Not had any problems with Faith so far. I see her doing nice deeds in this park far more than any other manager.
First of all, if u buy a home from the park, get an inspector. They pay home Depot or Lowe's contractors to come in and spend $500 to gloss over everything and a month after u move in it all starts falling apart. The contractor grade blinds all break , the spray glaze on the tub all peels off, all the breakers start tripping bc the wiring is a fire waiting to happen, the first time it rains you find out where all the leaks are in the walls, the water heater will be 40 yrs old, check it, the screens done on anything will be stapled and tear apart in a week and u will be reaponsible for replacing them which .comes to point 2. Every month , without skipping a beat, you will get a "violation" notice on your door of something that you have anywhere from 3 days to two weeks to fix or get evicted. EVERY SINGLE MONTH. This could be anything from having 4 plants outside instead of 3, a screen torn, to the "wrong color house" requiring you to paint your entire place . You will be constantly threatened to "call the lawyers" on you and evict you which comes to point 3. This place is a scam. Say whatever to get people in, sell the trailer and then after that, harrassment them every month with violations in hopes of finding something they can't afford to fix. Then take them the court and charge them the $1000 court fees and days off work to fight an eviction for not fixing a "violation" and either get u evicted where u have to move and still pay lot rent plus now have a lein on your trailer bc you have legal fees and can't sell without paying them, or bury you in fines and court costs and other ridiculous fees until it becomes no longer profitable to pay the lot rent for three months it takes to sell because 4. All applicants have to have park approval and then park can take as much time as possible to approve, or choose not to approve applicants and leave u paying lot rent way past the value of the home. So, stay faaarrrrr away from this place . The MGMT company cannot be contacted, the property manager is a liar and never answers calls or returns voicemails, everything they do goes thru their "attorneys" which are nothing more than night school ghetto ambulance chasing low life scumbags. In your lease there is actually a clause that says they can change the rules of the park anytime as long as u get certain days notice. So if you've had Fido for ten years and they decide he can't stay, you have 4 days to get rid of him and there's nothing you can do. And selling here takes months and you won't get ur money back. So, you're gonna pay $600 in lot rent with water and all included spend anothern$200 and get a place with a pool and a landlord who operates within the law. Btw, the county clerk's office knows this company very well. They deal with them constantly for evictions Compare that to other parks in the area They prey on the poor, uneducated, seniors, people with no other place to go. They are unethical and flat out lie. DO NOT MOVE HERE EVER EVER EVER. And don't get me started about the drug dealers and addicts and hookers.
HORRIBLE place to live. We moved here 2 years ago from Ohio. Management is the worst, she yells at the residents , very hateful NOT professional . The grass is never cut on time, No yards for the kids to place, and for 2 years they keep saying they are putting in a playground. Rent keeps going up and up. Worst mistake ever moving here. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!Drunk people walk up and down the lane at night yelling and causing problems. Cops are in here every single day!
