Dr Ash and his staff are ROCK stars. I went in with a very unique problem. Dr Ash didn’t turned away, he looked at it as a challenge. After scans to verify his diagnosis he scheduled surgery. The day of surgery I was in and out in under 45 minutes. The doctor handled me extremely professional, always making sure I wasn’t in any pain and before I knew it was over. I would recommend Dr. Ash and his staff to anyone.
My experience with Dr. Sundheimer was just amazing. I learned a lot about the condition and the surgery to resolve. The procedure was painless and the follow up care was great. This is a truly talented surgeon with a great chair side manner. I doubt I will ever require future consultation, but will be sending my daughter for her wisdom teeth extraction. Thankyou!
Just a huge decline in service. Had a great experience in 2018. I've heard new staff/turnover is an issue, but don't know that for certain myself. When I had issue with the aforementioned, the individual possibly a Kathy commented, "Why don't you figure it out yourself?" When I was a CPA, I would have NEVER treated people the way this practice does. Back and forth on what is covered/not covered on insurance. Then the "patients accounts" person sends TWO letters with what is not guranteed it's guaranteed, I'm guessing - must not have spell-check, bad punctuation, form, etc. The final claim from the aforementioned individual was that all but around $40 would be covered on a $2K+ service, but Melody wrote it is not "guranteed". Also got an earful as to her being "too busy" to get back to me when I inquired about not hearing back from the office. As a CPA, if I ever treated a client as these women treat a patient, I would have been fired. Was also told by staff upon first questioning about not hearing back on insurance, "Why don't you do it yourself?" Well, we eventually get the bill for only the consult, and our insurance covered ZERO, so I have no faith in what someone here in patient accounts "gurantees". Too bad, because years ago, I had a good experience with the doctor and nurses. My guess is that $3,500 we had two family members in for consults of services that would cost at least this amount is not much for this office. It is what it is - but you have been forewarned!
He is a wonderful doctor. Very friendly and caring!! He called me the day of my surgery to see how I was doing. Very satisfied with him and the nurses !!
Dr. Sundheimer and his staff are AMAZING! My son had gotten an elbow to the mouth causing his teeth to get pushed wayyyyy back. It was thanksgiving week and I'm sure with the holidays he was busy! He worked my sons procedure in last minute and saved the day!! Between himself and dr barnett orthodontics my son now looks great!! The staff NEVER made us feel like an inconvenience as I'm sure it put pressure on their already busy day they were very nice and very helpful. It's hard to find doctors that still put patient care first and this office is hands down the best!! Thank you for helping a stressed out mom on thanksgiving week!!!
My husband and I were in an ATV accident in Canton, Ohio. We were brought to Aultman hospital where we met Dr. Ash. My husband had broke his jaw and a lot of facial bones. Dr. Ash performed the surgery. He is an excellent surgeon. He explained the procedure and answered any questions we had. He was so kind. He made me feel more comfortable and not so stressed about the surgery especially being two hours away from home and not knowing anything about the hospital or doctors. I definitely would recommend him! We drive two hours for check ups and it is so worth it. He is a wonderful Doctor! Greg & Laura Henslee
Dr Sundheimer was very nice and understanding with me being so nervous extracting 2 broken back teeth, assistant Brittanywas so nice talking to me and answering all my questions keeping me calm though out the process, she said she treats people like she wants to be treated, even the receptionist was so nice and polite. I love Dr Ash...He is an excellent Surgeon...He is kind, compassionate n caring n His Staff is the same way.! I was admitted to Mercy Medical Ctr thru ER n was given Dr Ash as My surgeon to perform emergency surgery on an abscess piece of bone that my regular dentist just was not catching.! I was Blessed By God to have been given such an Awesome Surgeon Who has been gifted with such Grace from God as well, as Wisdom n Knowledge that only Comes from God.! His surgical team was also, the Best because I'm not a patient that has ever been very calm as I've come out of anesthesia n God Bless them for their Patience, kindness n Caring ways with me n for Dr Ash Making Sure I suffered No More because Until I had been admitted to hospital I truly suffered n IT saddens me that those were the dentist very words as they talked me into signing loan papers to approve the go ahead for my dental work n my husband heard him say "Well, Tammy I can see that you are hesitant to have this work done n I'm sensing n believe I'm hearing in ur tone n from what ur saying that you are fearful n that you beleive if u wld b in pain, that you wld b made to just suck it it up n endure that pain"! I said "yes, I don't want to have all this work done n the extra monthly payment, I can get by on the minimum done because you are right I do NOT WANT to be left IN pain"! He laughed n said "Well, My Gosh Tammy we wld Never Allow you to Suffer or to Linger in pain that wld just b cruel"!But, that's exactly what the dentists did as they shuffled me around to THE ER, TO SPECIALISTS N TO OTHER DENTISTS N THESE OTHERS EVEN SENT ME WITH PAPERWORK BACK TO MY ORIGINAL DENTIST AS TO WHAT N WHERE PROBLEM WAS BUT, THEY HAD THEIR MONEY N DID NOT WANT TO CORRECT THEIR MISTAKE AS MY FACE BLEW UP LIKE A PUMPKIN N I HAD GOLF SIZE TRIPLETS ON MY CHIN N OTHERS DO NOT WANT TO INFRINGE ON OTHER DENTISTS ALREADY WORKING ON ME WITH A PLAN BUT, THEY HAD JUST MONITORED MY ISSUE FOR ABOUT 2-3 MONTHS N DIDNT ATTEMPT TO REMEDY N 1ST TIME IN MY LIFE I THOUGHT I WAS GONNA DIE B4 I WLD B ABLE TO GET HELP N SO I THANK GOD FOR DR ASH. I ALSO, THANK YOU DR ASH YOU ARE A GOD SEND.! GOD BLESS YOU N YOURS AND EVERY1 ON YOUR STAFF N ON THE SURGICAL TEAM - THEY ARE ALL AWESOME N ADD TO YOUR GREAL QUALITY OF CARE- THEY ENHANCE YOU BECAUSE THEY ARE THE BEST OF THE BEST TOO.!!!
