Not sure what to say. My sister in law recommend them. So I would of trusted them with my life. But when I went there; I almost felt like I was just a bother. Maybe they aren't too crazy about working with someone who is paying in cash. Felt like they were in a hurry. And I was holding them up. Told me a couple different prices. Saw a third one on the paperwork. She went through it pretty quick. And I left not understanding what she was talking about. She made it sound like all lowers will be loose. My sister in law and her brother went there. There's isn't loose. They were in and done in one day. And love the work done. I went in and was told I have to decide how I want them to do it. Then would have to return about every ten weeks. Almost felt like they would rather I went somewhere else. Took over thirty years to find one I could trust. Now I feel like I'm back to square one. And don't know what to do.
Just got home and have to say the kindness I was shown and how thoughtful Kaitlyn and Ted Lewis D.M.D. were at keeping me laughing and checking on if I was doing ok made all the difference in the world! I went from being scared and anxious to relaxing and feeling like I was in the care of friends and I didn’t need to worry. Thank you so much to the staff at the front who smiled and were very helpful over the phone as well as at the office. I’d put this off for so long because of fear and now I see I had nothing to be fearing! I highly recommend this office!!!
So far, my experience with Affordable Dentures and Implants has been wonderful! From day one, exam and x-rays to now, 4 months in. Super happy with the entire crew! I'm going through a full denture procedure and they are guiding me through every step. Thank you Affordable Dentures and Implants Ted Lewis & Crew!
I went to Ted Lewis to get 19 teeth taken out and get my beginner teeth made. It took him 5 minutes to take them out. He did not scrape the bones, he just stitched my gums up. The stitches were supposed to stay in for 6-8 weeks mine stayed for 1 week before they ripped out from being to tight. I had big pieces of bone coming out of my gums. He said and I quote " Your surgeon should've taken that out. Oh wait a minute... I was your surgeon " and laughed like I'm his joke! The teeth they made did not fit my mouth until 2 months later. Come to find out they were crooked and didn't sit straight. They sit tops to the right and bottoms to the left. They refused to make a new set of teeth. 3 months later had a follow up and still have large bones coming out of my gums. All he had to say is that I need a specialist did not give a referral. Refunded the set of crooked teeth and pushed me out the door. I would NOT recommend anyone to go to Ted Lewis. He mangled my mouth and didn't give one iota. As long as he got his money. I talked like a drunk trying to wear those so called teeth. 0
Terrible experience i wish i knew the name of the lady i dealt with cause i would love to help u avoid her . She spent most of the time trying to convince me not to get a partial , i felt the vibe that she was trying to turn me away without just turning me away . Thats not even the biggest part of the problem . The girl was rude as could be . She stormed off and got red faced mad when i told her i understood what she was saying because she had told me three times literally 3 times already that my insurance would not cover me . I was calm and nice about it ppl i promise . I was dumb founded whem she handled the situation so poorly and unprofessionaly . Very weird place i do not reccomend . They spend more time trying to tell u why you cant get the dentures instead of trying to come up with a plan that works for u .
I am going to pay out of pocket for service I've already paid TED LEWIS DENTISTRY to avoid anymore contact with that office. Staff, and Ted himself are incredibly rude. They charge you $60 for Valium during your extractions, but literally Do not give you any Valium in the office. They claim the charge is to babysit you while you're on the 10mg of Valium that you pick up yourself. They took the Valium charge off, but the total didn't change. My teeth are literally falling out of my mouth when speaking, but I am no longer important to them as I've already paid in full. They called the wrong # to confirm my appointment, the day of, and wouldn't see me when I showed up 15 minutes early because I didn't confirm??!! The entire staff and Ted himself have BIG INTEGRITY problems as Ted had drug charges in Sikeston Missouri. It's amazing the lady in charge of complaints escalated this complaint to this level rather than take care of a patient. I RECOMMEND AVOIDING THIS BUSINESS AT ALL COST.
Very nice staff and there open til 8p.m. so great with scheduling and there staff is all wonderful. They make you feel welcome and comfortable and that goes a long way with me because I'm terrified of dentists lol for real though. Very clean and they offer all kinds of options to fit anyone's needs. I definitely recommend this place for any and all dental needs and they do accept insurance including Medicaid
Amazing staff! Amazing care! Start to finish they make such a difficult thing as painless as possible. Their caring makes it a great experience. From the front desk to back office to the dentist himself. I can not say enough.
I Was referred to this place, Well I found out why they're Affordable!!! As soon as I walked through the door it was silent. I stood at the counter waiting to check in and was never even greeted! No hi or good morning. Nothing. But after I finally got called back to a room I sat for 20 minutes l... reality hit, this place is not clean and the employees don't care. One girl yelled at me to sit down until I was seen I kindly told her I'd be leaving! No one there was nice to anyone. Everything was dirty, Cabinets had goo dripping down. Denture powder open and all over the counters and floor. The mouse pad was even filled with germs! No was will I let a place this nasty Work on my mouth Someone call the health department I also took pictures
I just came from Affordable Dentures and the staff was as nice and answered all of my questions. The Dr. saw me he was so nice and very professional they're taking care of all my insurance stuff for me and said they would call me to setup a appointment. It was a great experience at that facility. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a good dentist to see that's your place.
