A nice balance of flat, easy trails and more challenging options. The yellow and red trails are not very well maintained. These are best for older children and experienced hikers. The pond area is great for younger kids. Very dog friendly, with leashes.
Cool place to go on a walk, or hike, and the day we went there were a lot of bikers. the trails looked really sweet for some experienced riding. had a great time walking through the trails with our dog, keep an eye out for those bikers and definitely don't let your dog off the leash!
Went for a walk with dogs on a cold and rainy day and ended up falling in love with the simple splendor of this oasis. The trails were misdy at places and had to use roughly made platforms from fallen trees to keep dry, but made due. The little waterway and the rising hills to the side created a lovely get away. Looking forward to exploring smaller blue and yellow blazed trails later.
Wonderful trails along the river, through streams and marshes - followed the yellow trail all around the marsh with Osprey nests, tons of moss covered rocks - peaceful!
Sunnybrook is a nice place to walk around, there are a bunch of marked trails to explore. Fishing, hiking, and there's even a field where they fly RC plains. Plenty of parking and I believe hunting is allowed, Great place to relax or take the dog for a run. Never had an issue with ticks but they are definitely in the tall grass so check.
First time here today. Nice walk. Lots dog walkers. Woodsy with lots of trials but today I stayed on the paved or gravel b/c some of the trails were too muddy. I'll definitely be back to explore more of the park.
Beautiful park with several nature trails. If you stay on the paved road you will come to a pond and nice open field. They only downside is many people that being their dogs so not clean up after them, but the town tries to maintain it and the paths after always mowed.

Had a great time with friends we saw an Eagle and enjoyed the sights. Such a beautiful place to with others or by yourself.
Beautiful place for a nature walk. Enjoy the peace and quiet with easily marked trails. The Brook is beautiful to listen to. Escape the chaos of everyday life when you visit Sunny Brooke State Park.
