This is the third insurance brokerage company I've worked with since living in 3 different states and by far the worst experience I've had. Very unprofessional and disorganized. I only worked with Mark so I can't vouch for the other partner but I was less than impressed with my interactions with him. I really like working with brokerage companies but it was not worth it while living in New Mexico. I have since moved from NM and have been in partnership with one of our previous brokerage companies and the difference between this one and Sunset Insurance is glaringly different. Seriously night and day. Unfortunately this has been the case with a multitude of companies since leaving New Mexico doctors offices, health insurance, etc.. During several different conversations with Mark when dealing with coverages, renewal, and price comparisons from different providers, I felt like I knew more than him and had to remind him of things that he should have known. Whenever we talked on the phone or emailed back and forth, he was rash and very messy. Never had his facts straight and didn't collect all the info he needed from the start which led to 3-4 calls from him to me to keep asking questions that could have been solved in one go-around. This last renewal was the final straw and I was so happy to relocate to a different state just in time to work with a different brokerage and it's been the biggest relief and positive transition. This is only my second google review I've ever written but wanted to provide my experience because the other reviews paint a much different picture than what I had

I have been with sunset insurance for three years already, was referred by a friend on there service and rates. Mark has been great with his service any time I have a issue or something needs to be updated he always informs me!

The guy I talked to was rude and disrespectful. He refused to listen and didn't offer any real help. I have had a homeowners policy through them for years and when I needed help -- only time I've ever needed help -- he acted like I was wasting his time. He kept talking over me, he wouldn't listen to my concerns, he pretty much told me I needed to deal with it myself. I've never been treated so poorly by an insurance agent.

They are knowledgeable, but I had insurance with safeco from an agent here and when I found a place with cheaper insurance the agent didn't cancel the payment and money got taken out. I needed that money for my mortgage so it put me negative and now will be late for my mortgage. Really messed everything up. I called safeco and they said it was because the agent canceled the insurance but not the payment.

I have been working with Sunset Insurance for Over 10 yes now and the customer service has been above and beyond thank you Mark Ogas for all your help and exceptional services.

Incredibly knowledgeable and helpful! We've been working with Mark for our commercial policy and he has been great to us. He has helped us make changes and updates to our policies that reflect our current operations and we have seen significant premium decreases. We feel taken care and are looking forward to continuing to work with Sunset.

They we're nothing but professional. Mark went out of his way to find me the most competitive rate for home owner insurance and was such a delight to work with. Would definitely use again. Highly recommend.
