The folks at Sunshine are FANTASTIC! From sales to service, they are friendly, diligent and know their stuff. I can't recommend them more highly. They are bright, colorful thread in the tapestry of Fairfax.
Very friendly, helpful. We rentes 2 bikes today. Not the most cheapest but very good bikes and advice where to go biking. And a entrance ticket for the mtb park
After I put a deposit before the holidays, the bike was on hold for me. With bad weather/holidays etc. the store was closed few days but the sales guy promised the bike was on hold, I was never put under pressure as probably I was the only one looking at it. He never asked to release the deposit before. After we schedule a demo ride for tomorrow, weather condition permitted, as rain stopped, another customer came and offer $200 more and they sold the bike with the reasoning they thought I was not serious about it!!! Will not recommend to deal with this shop, they are just acting with unethical standards and for sure not honest. Yesterday, I even proposed to increase my deposit to $2K, if this is what makes them feel I am serious about the bike, and the sales guy said he will call me this AM. He did not call, so I picked up the phone and called him, His answer was that the bike sold this morning before they open the shop. HaHaHa Lol.
Great bike shop. Very knowledgeable and provide you with good info. Low pressure. Technicians are amazing - fixed an issue with my front stem that was hard to track down.
Sunshine is a great local bike shop. They seem to always have time to do big jobs AND walk-in little tweaks to keep us riding. Highly recommend.
The staff is friendly, knowledgeable and if you roll up on your bike in need of a repair they will come to your rescue. A sweet line of bikes too.
Great bike shop. As someone who is new to the area I came in and the staff were friendly and courteous. Additionally they were extremely knowledgable with repairs and figuring out the best options for you. Highly recommend. Also the other bike shop in town didn't have passes for Camp Tamarancho so I came here and they did.
Sunshine really saved the day when my derailleur suddenly snapped off 20 miles form home. They didn't have the exact part I needed, but they were able to do an emergency repair while I waited, saving me a $100 Uber ride home. A really friendly guy I want to say... Carson? provided excellent customer service, even though I was low on calories and cranky. Thanks!
Have brought my road bike here several times for fixing, and they've always done a good job at going rates. Their only issue is that they've become so popular, that booking a near-term repair appointment can be hard.
Tony at Sunshine Bikes is the best! Just got a new Surly Pacer and he went the extra mile making adjustments to ensure the fit was right. This shop has a great selection of performance components and bikes as well as well as all the stuff for kids, commuters, and touring. The staff is easy-going and super helpful. Best bike shop in the Bay by my book!
