the place has been remodeled and the rooms are really nice! the owner spoke with me and gave me good Intel on breakfast spots and some history about the hotel. I stayed for the race on 8/26/2023. definitely recommend this place! Rooms: just remodeled and painted. quality work on the renovation ! clean and great service!
Minor details could have used backup roll of toilet paper and a couple more towels. Other than room was clean, quiet, beds comfortable and staff friendly. Very pleasant stayRooms: 5/5

This is a "motel" but is extremely clean. The owner offered to change parking spots with me because of my high end car and he knew I wanted to see it from my room. Just bring your own shampoo and perhaps better soap. I will use again!!Rooms: 5/5
Came to town for the Daytona 500. Very nice, well kept property. My room was clean, neat, and it's obvious the owner who lives on site cares about this place. Felt safe, other occupants seemed to be well behaved race fans just like myself. I'm about as picky as anyone can get and I have no complaints. Highly recommend the Sunshine Inn.Rooms: 5/5
We came down for the Rolex 24 at Daytona. We literally only were going to be in the hotel long enough to get some rest. We were charged almost $200 for a room that was literally falling apart. Cracks in the walls and ceiling. Standing in the shower you could tell the back of the hotel is sinking. I wasn't expecting much when we booked the hotel, but when we got there the outside was nice and clean. The room was clean but I definitely don't feel like it was a worth what we paid, but as the hotels were booked because of the race we didn't have another choice. Will not go back
We booked a room in November for March 8-12. We were quoted 686.00. My husband got a call today and was told that was a miss quote by the employee that booked us and the cost was actually going to be 768.00 plus taxes! We chose this place because it was cheap. We don't require much but that's too much for this place
Got everything I ask for in a timely manner. Staff was very friendly and greeted us every day of our stay. We talked about the plants and it's meaning to his home. Really enjoyed my experience. Very clean.Rooms: 5/5
