Sunstone Yoga offers “body temperature” classes that are based on yoga methodology and practice, but are presented in a contemporary and physically challenging format.

We offer yoga classes and hot yoga, pilates classes, barre fitness, HIIT circuits, cardio and core training, and more. I did the Photon class and while I really enjoyed it, I wished there was an instructor to make hands on adjustments. Jameson ? at the front desk was a delight, so helpful and kind while I adjusted to a new experience. The facilities are really modern and clean, the first thing I noticed when I walked in was how great it smelled! I have 3 recommendations to make it a perfect experience: 1. plastic baggies for wet clothes after a session the uptown location offers these 2. conditioner in the shower not a big deal 3. potentially an instructor to make hands on adjustments. I will be back!!
If you love yoga and fitness and have not checked out the ALIVE Plano studio, that should be on your list of New Year's resolutions. The revamped studio is modern, clean, offers classes every 30 minutes, and has virtual and live instructors both. The virtual instruction is extremely well done, and I have loved those classes. I've been a loyal Sunstone member for over 10 years. They keep evolving with the market and always strive to create a great experience for their yoga and fitness fans. It's so easy to view their schedule online and register right there. Even though the pandemic kept me out of the studio for almost two years I took advantage of their fantastic online videos at that time, I kept up my membership to support them because I love this studio.
LOVE LOVE LOVE going there. I am taking a few month break for personal health reason and will be back as soon as I can. I went to hot yoga in Miami, NJ, New York and this spot in Dallas area turned out to be my favorite ever. So easy to schedule, classes are so peaceful yet challenging, they provide yoga mats and towels for showers. Service is 5 out 5. Plus super friendly stuff. Its a local gem
Love the flexibility of times, new Nucleus and Glow flow classes! I have overtime got into virtual instruction, however, the lighting still bothers me. I wish they would have bright lights most of the time. It would also be very nice to have live instructions or adjusters. Overall, it’s a great experience. I’ve been a member since 2014 and I don’t plan to change anytime soon!!
This studio is practically my second home. So grateful for the wonderful classes offered every 30 minutes, clean rooms, and amazing staff. I live in Las Colinas and while there is a studio right by me, the atmosphere of Alive has me hooked and is definitely worth the commute for me. I know whenever I come into Alive, I’m able to silence all the external noise life brings and really focus on my mental and physical health during class. It’s truly my favorite hour of the day!
LACKING CLASS VARIETY for people with disabilities but still paying an astronomical amount! Studio is great if you don't work or have other obligations and can plan your life around the studio's schedule. I want to love this studio so bad. Some of the classes I can not participate in and the classes I can do are so few and far between. They have back to back to back of the same classes at certain hours and it makes it really hard to get into the classes you want. It's a lot of money to pay every month for such limited options. Why does there need to be only back to back atom classes in the evening? Why not switch it up for people that want a different class? Will sadly be going to a studio with better variety.
As a long-time yoga practitioner Sunstone student and teacher for 12 years, who has also tried multiple yoga studios and experiences throughout the years, I can honestly say Alive is unique and unmatched. The atmosphere of the studio, facilities, and rooms is the perfect balance of inspiration and aspiration, calm and challenge. The lighting, visual, and verbal cueing in each class truly blend to create a near ethereal environment that allows me to tune into all levels of my practice: body, mind, and soul. While I was skeptical about the loss of physical teachers in the room, I don’t find it to be lacking in instruction. The visual models and voice-over are clear and precise and make movement intuitive to follow. I am a seasoned yogi though so my perspective might be different than a new practitioner. Regardless, Alive is special, and I am so grateful for the opportunity to access its beauty.
The studio is beautiful and spotless. The atmosphere is amazing, offering a variety of classes to meet all your workout goals. Plus a class starts every 30 minutes from 4:30 am to 9:00 pm M-F.
Lots of different types of classes, from yoga to fitness! It's such a cool studio and I love the atmosphere. Great way to feel fit and get your meditation in at the same time!
I enjoy the variety of classes. The rooms are a good size. Mat and towel are provided. Great value at $119 per month for unlimited!
