The coaches of Surf City have been volleyball addicts their entire lives. They have played and coached at schools from Mater Dei High School to Long Beach State. They have led their teams to CIF Championships, Junior College State Championships, Junior Olympic National Championships and NCAA Division I Championships. The coaches are, first and foremost, educators.
Athletes who come to Surf City will receive outstanding training in volleyball skills. The staff at Surf City believes that life is a balance. Athletes need to train hard, study hard, and live a moral life. The coaches use the volleyball court as a forum not only to perfect athletic skills, but more importantly to improve life skills and values that will serve their athletes long after they leave Surf City.
