Why should you use a travel agent? It is easy to just book something online, I don't need to pay someone else to book my trip? Does that sound like something you would say? Did you know that travel agents are paid by the suppliers and it doesn't cost you any more to book direct than it does to book with an agent. Plus Agents know the in's and out's and can help customize your trip to fit your lifestyle not what some corporate online Travel Agent thinks it should be. We can coordinate multiple people from various destinations, tell you if the cruise line is charging too much for Shore Excursions or pre and post packages. Advise on Travel Insurance, the list goes on. So my question to you is why would you not want the expertise of someone that can take all that worry away from you, especially if they can save you money and give you a better vacation experience. I equate a Travel Agent to a CPA - yes you can do your own taxes but given the opportunity wouldn't you rather have someone else do it for you - especially if they saved you money and you could call them if you had a problem.
