Come here every year for a family softball game. Awesome park. Great facilities. Nice quiet location tucked off but not too far from stores and gas stations.
Very nice park, they have security and it's great for everyone to enjoy. They have a walk trail, tennis court, volleyball ball area, soccer field, and so much more.
Nice park, big public swimming pool, tennis courts, baseball field, soccer and good wooded walking trail. The kids liked the playground because it was like an obstacle course, with a good pavilion next to it.
Fair price for pool $5 kids, $7 adults. Babies aged 2 and under no fee. They can get at capacity quick on hot days and no refunds if they have to close for rain or lightning.
We have played at Tolleson park for softball. It’s a generally well maintained park with a pool, volley ball, tennis, playground, soccer and softball fields. Bathrooms are also there, although, could us a little upgrading, but not bad for a local recreation and sports complex. Lost a star for some general maintenance on some of the fields, they could use some new dirt and smoothing. We have had some players twist ankles and have softballs pop them in the face due to uneven dirt and rocks in the in-field. Part of the game but also something that can be cut down with some maintenance. Also, the lights aren’t automatic so when the staff wraps up for the night, they shut those things down right after the final game so you get to walk to your car in the dark…. They did have a police officer in the parking lot typically for evening games so it was still pretty safe I felt. Overall, not a bad facility and has a lot of good community sports and events.
Well-maintained tennis courts 6 total. Can be tough to get a court. Large swimming pool. Lots of other fields, sports areas, beach volleyball pits, etc. Another fantastic amenity from Cobb County parks and rec.
this park has a long history in my family, my children and my grandchildren have enjoyed many summer picnics and just days at the pool. Very well kept. I always enjoy days at the pool!¡!
The playground is great and the atmosphere feels fairly safe even in the evening. Also very clean as well.
Park is nice but I prefer Laurel Park as it is a larger, nicer park. That said, if you just want to take the kids for some play time on the playground Tolleson is a clean Park in a nice neighborhood atmosphere. If you want to have a family get together or event I recommend Laurel but if you just want to have a small fam picnic Tolleson fits the bill.
A bit confusing at first b/c there are two entrances to different areas of the park and there did not appear to be a roadway in the park that connects the two. So the huge plus for me is that it’s lit up in evening. There’s activity and spaces to walk around. One thing would love to see is basketball court.
