I go to this parking garage consistently because there are always spots available and I’m confident in my car’s safety there. It can be a bit pricey, but still worth it in my opinion. Additionally, when I once lost my ID there, the folks in the call center and security whom I coordinated with like Tracy were friendly and helped me get it back from the lost & found.
Easy to find. Plenty of open parking spaces on a Saturday. Decent stairwell and elevators. There are some tight spots but got my Honda CRV into a slot in a jiffy. There's a hair salon and cafe on the first level. Easy in and out with their ticketing machines. I was shocked when I returned within the hour it was only $4!
Twenty years ago I worked in Union square and for those 3 years Sutter Stockton was my garage. It was very clean, easy to get in and out of and the people who worked the pay booth late at night were very helpful and friendly. I returned today and saw that not much has changed. This is still a great garage. The bathrooms need some repairs but are still very clean. There are no longer any people in the pay booths but a worker was sweeping around the pay stations and asked right away if I needed anything.
They were able to easily get me in last minute for an oil change. The mechanic and the woman at the front desk were very thoughtful.
Plenty of parking spaces. There are some tight spots too. So, keep looking for better spots. It's usually busy and people come and go. It has 11 floors of parking. Not so clean and secure, but cheaper than most of the parking garages in SF. One of the most affordable parking spots in SF for Union Square, China Town, Financial District and many other notable places just blocks away. If parking on a Sunday9 AM to 6 PM, there is $1 per hour off. Make the best use of it. Update: Looks like there a price increase recently. Was charged $10 for couple of hours on a week day.
Very nice garage. It felt safe. It was well lit. There were staff people there at 5 am when I arrived and 10 pm when I returned. I would definitely park here again.
For me it was a good place to park my car over night. It's quite convineant and they offer a special over night rate. It's valid from 6 p.m. You will have to leave before 9 a.m. the next morning. On the evening the side entrance is closed and you can only enter via the main entrance
Great location for Union Square parking. I parked here between Friday 5pm and Sunday 11am. Paid $54 total. Not bad at all. My hotel half a block away would have charged triple the rate for valet. I read a lot of reviews regarding break ins and I was skeptical at first and even went to check on my car a couple of times. Everything was fine, I even saw security roaming around and doing their jobs, one made eye contact with me as I was checking on my car on the 5th floor. Plenty of parking available even on lower floors but I'm picky with my parking spaces and try to avoid door dings so I went all the way up to the 5th floor to get a corner spot that I wanted. I did see a couple bums loitering around the first level entrance and it smelled like urine. I could see how this could be the type of place where you may get broken into if you left any items that are visible. My advice is to not leave absolutely any items no matter how worthless you think they are or any change that would give thieves a reason to break your window and you should be fine.
Easy to find, plenty of parking and cheaper than parking around Union Square garages. Of you don't mind a walk then this is a great area to park and even close to China Town. Don't worry there is a Starbucks close by and a CVS. The parking lanes are wide not all compact. There is construction happening to put in newer pay stations so you may have to pay at the office.
Easy parking and not too pricey for restaurants and theatres in the Union Square area and for appointments at several nearby medical office buildings.
