Description

Just off Union Square, the 450 Sutter Building is San Francisco’s premiere medical/dental and professional office suite building. This beautiful and elegant 26-story high-rise, an Art-Deco masterpiece, was designed by world famous San Francisco architect Timothy Pflueger. The building has achieved recognition as a San Francisco Historic Landmark, as well as being added to the U.S. National List of Historic Places in 2010.

450 Sutter has many fantastic amenities for all visiting guests, including a 450-car valet garage, the on-site Sutter Street Cafe, the 450 Sutter Pharmacy, the Union Square location of Wells Fargo bank, ADA Certified Restrooms on each floor, two full time lobby attendants to assist with any questions guests may have and drop off boxes for USPS, FedEx and UPS. Tenants of 450 Sutter also have access to the Mayan Room conference facility, access to the Tenant Lounge, on-site janitorial, on-site engineering, hi-speed internet through Monkey Brains, eWaste services, confidential document shredding services, on-site building management and much more!

As far as I'm aware, only the lobby area is public and it's quite a small space. Nonetheless, the art deco interior is pretty stunning. Takes only about 5-10 minutes to soak it all in so worth a quick stop if in the area.

450 Sutter is primarily a medical and dental office space. Tours are not offered. The front of the building and the small ground floor lobby represent a wonderful peek at the art deco style of the original building. The floors upstairs contain offices and represent a semi-modern clinical office environment. Parking: Paid parking in the Sutter Stockton garage a half block away.
Beautiful lobby for this medical building. The wait for the elevators going up to your appointment can take more than a couple of minutes; add more if it's on a higher floor with a crowded lift.Visited onWeekday

What an architectural marvel! The lobby is a blaze with Aztec like designs on the walls the elevators and please take notice of that gorgeous ceiling and that's just the lobby. if you're lucky enough to have a dentist or a doctor who is in an upper floor you can really get a really good view of the city. I think I Love my dentist just because of that
Greeter/Receptionist Guy was helpful with the elevator. The doors close very fast so elderly or disabled must be wary. Signage was fairly well done. Decor is, as stated everywhere else, pretty stupendous.
Fancy, well kept assortment of business offices in downtown San Francisco. Parking however is always an issue. I visited a dentist office located here and paid $20for the use of a conveniently located garage next door. Worth to me to not stress on parking but over priced none the less. They have elevator attendants to help you find the floor you need and to press the button in case your unable professional atmosphere. Nicely decorated and charming building.
My dentist is here. It's a lovely building with an iconic foyer, friendly attendant, parking garage attached. I get to look out over views of SF while I get treated too, I recommend trying to find a dentist whose practice is high up!
Striking architecture so that's worth a gander from outside and in the lobby. Can't give more stars as you're probably here for a medical procedure. Wishing you good health, or getting there!
