The Swansea Police Department is responsible for providing law enforcement services to the citizens of the Town of Swansea and to those that are traveling through its jurisdiction. This includes answering calls for service, conducting criminal investigations, working traffic accidents and enforcing traffic laws, and providing support to the community for community related events. We also work closely with other agencies in the area. The Swansea Police Department is a member of the 11th Circuit South Carolina Law Enforcement Network.
