These are my favourite veggie Samosas in Toronto. And super economical. Of course the deal was even better before all this inflation but what can be done, everyone’s hurting. The store is simple and basic, but staff is always accommodating and helpful. Its my go-to place.
Listen. Don’t worry about any of these haters. These are the best veggie samosas in Toronto period. Golden brown crispy crust, generous balanced stuffing, perfect size. Warning - very addictive. I have full hallucinatory cravings for the baklava. It’s too good I can’t even describe here sorry. Best baklava I’ve ever had anywhere in the world. Pakora is good too. And I kid you not - it is HARD to spend more than $10 here. Thank you to the family that runs this place.
Veggie samosas vegan have a tasty filling, crispy crust, and are not overly oily. Pakoras vegan are mostly potato and are more like fritters than balls not a bad thing, just a description and tasty and crisp as well. No sauces are provided. Very affordable. Got 12 samosas and 1/2lb pakoras for $9. I would definitely order from here again. Vegetarian options: Lots of vegetarian options available for sweets. Parking: Easy parking Dietary restrictions: Samosas and pakoras are vegan.
New: Customer service has gone down drastically & overcharging for their smaller size samosas. Biggest concern is their hygiene & Toronto public health should inspect this facility immediately. In my recent visit saw flies in all of their food & back window is not glass protected. Old: Have been buying samosas from past 10 years. Hopefully the prices go back to pre-pandemic levels. Food is fine & love their sweet sauce.
This a go-to place for quality, affordable samosas. The 3 for 1 price can't be beat veg, especially when the taste is this good. Sure there are a few other places where you can get cheaper samosas, but the quality is definitely not on par. If I were a little closer to this place, I'd definitely be here a lot more often. But alas, I usually reserve my orders for dinners or potlucks. Ps: the fish also comes highly recommended; is made fresh and served right out of the pan!!
This is my go-to place for sweets, jalebis. Samosas are okay compared to price. But the sweets are really good & affordable.
Their chicken samosas are spoiled like four days old most of the times. I have experienced the old spoiled chicken samosas before as well. And I thought that could be a mistaken by them. But they still mix many days old stinking samosa with new ones. I hope the inspector catch them one day. I have the photos but it does not allow me to attach that ugliest photos of their expired samosas.
Veggie samosas are delicious!! And the almond cookies are also my favorite
Terrible place to buy sweets "Mithai". Please don't waste your money here. sweets are very old and has terrible taste. It almost made me sick. This place is very small and dirty. They need to upgrade lots of stuff there.
Are these even samosas? Why are they extremely petit and a handful of salt. These are nothing compared to Lahore's samosas. Not even worth the price.
