Sweetwater Middle School

This school is not as bad as people say it is i'm in 6 grade and so far it has been great teachers really care about you education some people may say there was a lot of bulling taken place but so far i haven't seen any. The only thing i hate about the school is the lunch i recommend you bring your own lunch. All the teachers in the school are very cool.I recommend this school to anyone.

Its not as bad as people say it is. Yea there are a lot of students who do things that is way out of there age but the teachers there are really interested in you and try to get you into loving school. The only problem i had with going there was the changes and how the acted towards us 8th graders.

If i could give this school zero stars i would . The kids get in trouble for basically idiotic things. The dress code for girls is ridiculous while the boys dress code isn't enforced at all. Girls been dress coded on numerous occasions for dumb stuff. Once i was wearing a top that was three fingers wide yet i was still dress coded for it . The school needs to teach boys to not get turned on by the sight of a shoulder and get on with it. Interrupting my education because of a shoulder is absolutely ridiculous . In 6th grade the school was much better and the kids got a little more freedom and everything was good. This school is all about 110% respect to teachers and thats it. However respect goes both ways . For teacher appreciation week administrators had loads of gifts to give to teachers all week but the school can't even give students decent lunches. This doesn't make sense . A couple of 8th graders once found worms in their oranges which is absolutely disgusting . I hope the school gets better after I leave

Not as good as everybody says it is. Its all about labels if you have shoe game,or not if your pretty,fat.or skinny.Also the teachers are just , lets just say i met like 4 out of 20 teachers that i got along with.This school sucks! You get iss and silent lunch for dumb stuff! Its all about the students giving 110% respect to teachers but it goes both ways.When teachers show disrespect to you and you try to be nice you get in trouble anyways! I wouldn't recommend your child to go there unless there popular because like i said this school and students in it are all about labels.Too much drama , fights , and bullying that they do nothing about but give you iss or oss for the most 4 days like really ??

This school sucks! I've been at this school all 3 years of middle school. All my teachers hated me, in 6th grade I got in school suspension for getting punched in the rib, and many other times I was threatened suspension for giving my sixth grade teacher attitude after failing me on some test because they were being rude about it. The councilors don't do anything even if you report someone for bullying and all they do is blame the victim!

My granddaughter got into a fight there, although the school was forewarned on numerous occasions by my daughter that my granddaughter was being threatened and bullied the school administrators did nothing. On the day of the fight there were photos and videos taken of the fight, which clearly showed my granddaughter was hit first and just defended herself, they charged my granddaughter with assault and suspended her for nine days. This school is a horrible place which promotes bulling.

I go to SMS and it is NOT the best school in the world, but it is the best in the region. If i had to choose a school in the region it would be SMS. but, since i am in 8th grade I will not have to worry about the school anymore. I have chosen to go to riverside military academy! it is not true that there are a lot of fights at SMS, in the 2 years i have been here i have not seen a single fight

I have to give big recognition to the Band for that is where most of my scores went as well as the 7th and 8th grade teachers. I think as a parent you have to be involved in the school as much as possible. I know some parents are unable volunteer due to work schedule but for those who are stay at home moms I see a benefit to being part of the school PTSA and just being involved as much as possible. Sweetwater Middle School has improved a great deal under new leadership. But most importantly Sweetwater Middle School Band has received superior ratings in every division that matters. So I pray they keep up the good work. Although most us have been re-zoned that should not stop the school from excelling. Good Luck.

I went here and it was pretty litt the students the how's but anyways i ended up moving so yeah but the teachers are strict and dumb and haters. The only nice teacher i had was ms. Perez so shout out to her

I loved my friends in a lot of cases the teachers were interesting.........But i loved the school and SOME of the people the band is LEGIT I played trumpet in Mr. Renfroe's band.
