This branch was recently remodeled and opened again for business!!! Love this new venue with great vistas of Sylvania. Many shelves of books, a cozy fireplace area, and a wonderful room for the youngest to middle school patrons. Every seating area has outlets for charging and eight study rooms! There's a laptop bar near the vending machines as well as one located near the computer area. Check out the Maker room, too. So many additions, too many to mention, a must-see!
The Sylvania branch has become my "goto" spot for work or just playing on my computer. Quiet, clean, friendly, well laid out. The staff is very accomodating, friendly, and helpful.
This is the best library experience you will ever have. It is super comfortable in every section. Everything you need is there, including electrical outlets at each table, computers, all types of media, and fantastic magazines and newspapers! To my surprise there are even vending machines. There are also a lot of small rooms for personal use and small study groups. What a great atmosphere for every age group!
I love both of our Sylvania library's branches! Staff are always friendly& extremely helpful. Both buildings are visual assets to our community too! They now have federal & state tax returns available.
I stopped in with :15 until close. The check out ladies took great care of me. One stopped what she was doing and made sure I found what I was looking for. She took great care of me.
Is this a library? I can't tell. Why is everyone yapping? There's plenty of other places in town where you can have conversation. I liked it better before the remodel - when you were in the back of the old library, you couldn't hear a sound in the front. I don't like how the study rooms are randomly arranged, and see through - feel like I'm on display. Not only are kids annoying, but the adults and the library staff are even worse. Even if I sit all the way in the back of the library, I can still hear the loud conversations and cackling of the adults and the librarians. This used to be such a great place to study before the remodel, there were plenty of secluded areas to tuck into. There's absolutely no regard for the people that come here to study, it's infuriating. Whoever thought open-concept was a good idea for a library has never studied in a library before. Really disappointed
The best library ever! Kid-Friendly: You can stay for hours in here with your kid. My son spends hours, and he never wants to leave the library. He is only 19-months but loves looking at the pages of the books in here. I love watching him enjoying his time with other kids. I want to thank every single individual who participated in the process of building this library in the neighborhood. Great Team: Staff is amiable and kind. They offer help whenever you are lost. Quiet Environment: If you need a quiet place to study, this is the place you need. Inventory & No Late Fee: Whatever book you need, just let the library know. They will get it for you. They don't charge any late fee, as well. Overall, they do everything they can do to increase the reading level of the local citizens. My kid loves books, thanks to the significant role that the library and its staff play. We appreciate what you do for us. Thank you!

Great service. Many options--private study rooms, plenty of computers, variety of books/reference materials, kids' programs They even send you a text to remind you when your book is due back and give you the option to renew by text. Love this place!
