Symmes Township Public Library

I recently got a library card for the Cincinnati Public Library and it was incredible how much I got access to! Not only an amazing selection of physical and electronic books, but also helpful online resources like instructional videos and research databases. The staff is also very friendly and helpful! It is a pleasure every time I need to come here!

I organized two events at the Symmes Library, and the staff has been very helpful and friendly. More important, they were knowledgeable on setting the A/V system and connecting to the wifi.

Not a great library for young kids. Recently moved to the area and stopped in here with my 2 year old to play and grab some books. There’s not a single toy in this library. I asked the staff for help and she directed us to iPads ‍

This location is the branch of the Cincinnati library that I visit. I have been going to this location for well over 10 years. I've always experienced great customer service from the employees every time that I've went here. At least one employee but a Lot of the time, more than one greats me when they see me come inside and asks how I am doing that day. Everyone who works there doesn't even hesitate to help anyone if they need it, and when checking out my items, someone always asks me if I found everything that I was looking for. If I didn't, I have always been asked if I want them to put that item on hold to guarantee that I get it. Also, I have asked different employees if they could give me any recommendations on books or authors that may be similar to other books that I had checked out, and if they might not know themselves, they will look in the computer to find the information and then print it out for me. An added bonus right now March, 2022 is that they are giving out up to 4 at home Covid-19 testing kits from their drive-thru window.

I absolutely love coming to this library! The librarians are so nice and eager to help you in any way possible. They also don't bother you if you don't wanna be interrupted. They have great resources for new residents, and offer resources for anyone in need of financial help. When it's tax season, they provide all the tax forms at no charge. Another great service this location and others is the free faxing service to Hamilton County Job & Family Services, which is wonderful because you get a receipt for fax sent successfully to keep for your records. The Symmes Township Public Library Is Obviously My Favorite Library Around The Area. I Highly Recommend Everyone To Check Out This Library Anytime For Many Resources and Information In The Community.

My toddler and I love visiting this library! It’s a great size with so many resources. We frequently go to pick out new books for him and he loves being able to browse the aisles. We sit at the tables in the kid area too to read a little before we go.

While the entire Cincinnati Library system is excellent, the Symmes branch is one of its outstanding branches. This branch has a large collection of books, periodicals, music, computers, printers and meeting rooms. The service here is patron oriented and top-notch. The only major Improvement would be to have a Makerspace.

They were polite on the phone, polite when I arrived, the library was nice and quiet and clean and beautiful and if I lived in this time zone, I'd be here all the time. Just popped in to print something out, and it took no time at all.
