I love synagogue baptist church, and the pastor, Jake Gaines, Jr. He is truly the greatest.
We had an amazing time. The pastor and members were very welcoming! He brought the word of God.
Love this church what can I say. If ur seeking a Bible teaching church here u go...pastor Gaines always on point and all the other minister are as well.
The pastor always brings a dynamic word from the Lord. He's real and honest. He gives you the bible straight no chaser. On top of that, he's very funny too. The members are warm, and loving. This is a church where you'll feel like a long lost friend.
I've been a member of this church since 1986. The pastor is "Detroit's Best Kept Secret". He is a man of integrity and truly loves the Lord. When you hear the pastor preach, he breaks it down so listeners can understand, making the bible very relatable and pertinent to everyday living. Not only that, the church members are very nice, and friendly. Another plus is the service is very streamlined and doesn't last long. Service is approximately two hours. No long choir songs and only one offering. It's so cool. I'm thankful for SBC. Because of the the biblical teaching at this church I have grown tremendously as a person. Although, I'm not perfect, I don't look like what I've been through. I'm grateful for rhe Lord's mercy and grace. Without it, I wouldn't be here. So come check us out. Sunday service begins promptly at 10a and ends around noon. Come hear Pas. Jake Gaines, Jr preach. The Lord is using him and you won't be disappointed. And, in full disclosure, Pas. Gaines is my dad, but even if I'd never met him, the man can still preach! Come join us.
Been here over 20 yrs and love the way love is present in this church, no need to go anywhere else if you’re searching for GOD, JESUS,and the Holy SPIRIT AND REAL LOVE AND THE TRUE AND LIVING WORD OF GOD, THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE!!!!!!!!

Been going to this Church since i was born. Pastor Gaines teach the word of GOD from his spirit & the Bible.
We're back into the sanctuary with the Saints and Pastor is sharing the gospel
Used to have sn activity center for kids in the neighborhood... other than that, it's another church.
