Sarah at the front desk is a superstar! She has gone above and beyond to help me. Thank you Sarah. I have had a very good experience at Synovation. Danielle Anastasia is doing everything possible to get me out of this horrible pain I have. And the physical therapist Christina is amazing as a physical therapist. She is is very very good.!! I don’t understand these negative reviews when I was hurt really bad, and all they did was fix me. I would recommend Synovation to all my friends and family. That’s how good they are.
This office has been a disaster ever since Desert Oasis Healthcare contracted with them for their medical group pain management! The providers have changed so many times that there is absolutely no continuity for pain patients. Even though they provide you with a list of about 8-9 phone contacts with staff names throughout their office, NOT ONE person answers the phone during regular business hours. You will ALWAYS reach a voice messaging system and callbacks are infrequent, days later or not at all! Their FollowMyHealth patient portal is neither updated nor frequented by the staff, some who didn't even know about it when queried. Currently, you are not even able to send messages for Rx renewals as all are being returned as undeliverable. This is a travesty to have ANY business being run in such a manner, and when you are often dealing with elderly or in-pain patients, this is inexcusable. Please complain to Desert Oasis Healthcare and Medicare or your private insurance as this is absolutely unacceptable.
The Dr. Was thorough going thru my x-rays and MRI's. He said I need surgery's on my back and neck. He went over what is causing all my pain and then refused to give me anything for the pain and this is twice I've gone to his office for pain and refused anything that could possibly give me some relief for this excruciating pain that I live around the clock with. Let him have a day with my pain!!! He is playing god with my pain. He is to managel and lesson the amount of pain we go through, not to watch people suffer. What an evil man, he isn't a Dr, not in my eyes. I am so angry at that man for letting me go 3 months without anything for my pain. I won't ever go back there...,.
Synovation is a subpar organization in my experience. The doctor spent maybe 3 minutes with me, didn't explain anything about my symptoms, test results or really ask about the level of pain from spinal stenosis. Take Tylenol arthritis is not PAIN MANAGEMENT. Giving you an appointment day a month in advance then texting your real appt time on the Friday before is bizarre. Lastly, getting someone on the phone is miraculous. The spinal epidural doctor was super efficient so two stars instead of one. Highly not recommended. Never returning.
I was sent here for my back pain and it was decided I needed shots in my back. I was very nervous. The first time although they knew I was a diabetic I was not told my blood sugar had anything to do with this. That morning I had breakfast only to be told my sugar was too high to get the shots. This after a week of no aspirin for my pain and taking off work when I got upset the Dr berated me for being upset. Yesterday I went back again after doing all the prep making sure my blood levels were good. Once again I was very nervous and this time I was told by the same Dr my blood pressure was too high. I explained I do not have high blood pressure but I was very nervous. Instead of trying to calm me down or give me time to try to get it down the Dr refused the procedure again. She once again had no regard for what I was going through. I even said to her can you be human for even 5 minutes. Still in pain but I will never set foot in this office again I suggest you don’t either
I must have gone to a completely different office than a lot of these reviewers. All I can figure is they just wanted drugs and when the doctor wanted to try other methods to relieve their pain, DING - immediate one star Office staff was wonderful, all very friendly and helpful. Timing was perfect, I think I waited a couple of minutes. This was late afternoon, so they clearly save plenty of spacing between appointments so the patients won't have to wait forever. Dr. Fok is fantastic. He came walking in with a model of a spine, and spent a long time showing me what I had, why it was causing my pain and then discussing what we could do about it. Getting the appointment to do my 1st epidural injection was simple and there were many times available within the next several weeks. After getting home, I found my ride was not available on the day I chose, so I called the next day to change it and it was simple and staff was once again polite, helpful and friendly. I recommend them highly.
This place is unbelievable. The receptionist was very rude. When I get there no one had told me prior to the appointment that I had to come in 30 min before the appointment time and they wouldn’t take me in for my appointment. Waited two weeks for this appointment and now have to reschedule. Very unprofessional and disrespectful place. No help for a patient in pain and needing to see the doctor. Don’t recommend this medical facility at all.
My experience with this office was awesome from Sara The receptionist to back office MA Yadira, they are so professional and caring. Daniella Anastasio PA was very knowledgeable about my diagnosis and explaining in detail my options for care. I highly recommend this pain mgmt office. Great fabulous customer service by caring staff. Thank you ladies!!
Can’t get prescription refills they ignore my calls and when I was finally able to speak to someone they made excuses and said they had no idea when someone would have the time to reorder my prescription and that was after a week of trying extremely poor service or care for patients care
The staff at this office have been leaving for other employers and not being replaced. Now my mom is unable to get in touch with anyone to get a refill on her meds. She has tried every method to contact them for over a week but they are too understaffed or are closed and didn't tell their patients. DO NOT GO TO THIS PROVIDER. FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY!!!
