Located at the Syracuse University Center for Sustainable Community Solutions (CSCS), Syracuse EFC enhances the administrative and financial capacities of state and local government officials, nonprofit organizations, and private sectors to make change toward improved environmental infrastructure and quality of life.
Advance efficient and effective governance and problem-solving through leadership development and community participation in decision-making processes, focusing on public infrastructure education and training, financing, and regulatory tools, in areas such as sustainable materials management, green infrastructure for stormwater management, smart growth, and comprehensive planning.
