I've been a regular customer of this place for many years. The staff is friendly and they get your food out quickly! The eating area is well-lit and clean.
Food is typically good, but wasn't pleased w/ our latest visit. The steak nachos we saw pictured looked like a huge amount. My sister and I ordered it to go to share, because the portion on the add looked like a lot. Got home to eat, and you get less than half the portion pictured. For $6.40, you would expect a lot more.
Not sure what’s going on but last 3 visits terrible. Before COVID I was inside and took 15 min to get food. Last 2 drive thru we waited 15-25 min with only 2 cars in front of us. Yesterday the employee could be heard hitting and yelling, and after 25 min i figured food would be hot. NOPE!! Not seasoned no sauce and not even warm. Billings TJ’s were the best
If you like Taco John's you won't be disappointed. They make the food as the franchise requires so you'll get the food as expected. Not too long of a wait. Just don't expect them to do anything special. We always ask for no sauce but they never do that.
There have been so many times we didn't receive our complete order after we get home. Tonight we checked it I while still in the drive-thru. I backed up and knocked on the window. I showed the employee the slip and said they forgot one item. I would have been fine with the mistake but what they handed back to me was unacceptable. It's too bad, it used to be one of our favorites for fast food
Staff did not have masks on, though they did have gloves. Place looked pretty sketchy. Did not give us our whole order. Food we had was good, but we would not go back, given a choice. They were pretty much all that was open.
The tables inside are always dirty. On my last visit I asked for one to be cleaned and they gave me a dirty rag to wipe it myself. The drive thru always forgets part of my order which is super inconvenient because I live outside of town. I now pull over and unload my entire bag to check it before I leave. The service is super slow. The people working there seem more interested in socializing than in making your order correctly.
We have eaten at this taco johns 3 times. All 3 times they screwed up our order. The first 2 times they put lettuce on tacos when we clearly asked for none. The last time was today and they didn’t give us an item we paid for which was a meat and potatoe burrito. We couldn’t go back because by the time we noticed it wasn’t there, we were already on the interstate. The lady that took our order was rude. Talked to us like we were children when we changed something on our order. Unprofessional.
My favorite fast food restaurant, they really fill up those tacos with meat, and the meat tastes good it's never chewy or tough, its delicious!! It was a little bit of a wait in the drive through here but it was 100% worth it! The churro bites are a delicious little treat that is very reasonably priced as well.
The food was typical of this chain and good /what we expected. However the service was disorganized and slow the drive trhu was full and they showed no sign of speeding anything up. The inside sauce station was a mess, empty containers, sauce everywhere and no to go containers stocked. Tables dirty. Maybe they got hit really hard but there were only two people inside when we arrived. They were just obviously too slow to keep up with the demands of the restaurant.
