05/13/23: This was my first time here and I felt excited and entertained walking along the hallways. I enjoyed seeing people who were happy and relaxed coming to the mall on the weekends. I love the food court the most since they had tons of diners with delicious food. I hope that I could spend more time here. From Seattle with
The Tacoma Mall is going through some changes as demonstrated by stores closing and even some remodeling. Sadly, due to the reputation of this mall many locations that have closed, have not seen a return of new vendors. I hope they can figure out how to attract new stores and keep customers safe.
Totally cool shopping center. The janitors are always friendly and hard at work, and the place is always spotless. Excellent variety of retail outlets. The security here is terrible; the staff clearly needs better training, but everything else is top-notch.
Do not leave the Tacoma mall without trying their food! Their food is made with culture, soul, and a sprinkle of that holy spirit. It's godly good!
Haven't been to a mall in couple years. Was nice to check out all the stores we wanted but only got half way through. Gotta go back now for other half. Mall was clean and not crowded.
Gr8~clean atmosphere! However, Staffing was short ..causing a 40 minute delay in serving our orders. For those that have a large appetite, rest assured, their meals are large
This is a pretty good mall. The main reason for the low score is that there has been multiple shootings here and way too many pockets of Tacoma are just full of homeless and crazy people high in drugs.
Yes the entire Tacoma Mall goes. I would say it's usually a wonderful experience. There's always bumps in the road but for the most part very good. Nordstrom's is always a treat, as is Macy's. However, we were at the food court in the mall and the food at the mall at the food court anyway. Just really isn't what it maybe never was, but I remember it as being better and the service being better and the servers being a little more friendly. At least understanding that the customer is the reason that they're there. I don't expect them to think I walk on water but I don't expect them to be on their phone or talking to the other employees instead of waiting on myself or the other customers that were standing around waiting to be waited on. So to that end I would definitely buy my food somewhere else. Save yourself the headache and get something that has good flavor. Good price. Good quality. I have a couple recommendations if you don't want to cook it home which is my first or it could be my second go to Ty's tavern to one of the best food places around. It's in gig harbor. The prices are good. The food is fresh and great. I think you'll enjoy everything on the menu. So if you don't want to cook, definitely go to The Tides tavern don't let the name fool you, the staff will make you think you're in a five-star resort. I highly recommend this place
Let's see for one when it's hot and you're a worker the mall does not provide air conditioning. Two this place needs more variety than just shops. The mall is looking more ghetto. 3 the only thing that makes this place is good is knowing people and hanging out, otherwise it's getting crappier as the days go on. Plus the stores more that come in keep getting more expensive and not worth the time to look.
Great place. To exercise. Meet friends see who can get to the food court. First. I'm running off to orange Julius..love their fruit smoothies .strawberry pineapple ..smoothies.
