The front desk staff, medical and managers are outstanding. Very caring, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to help. They are thorough in explaining the process of donating plasma.
I have a great experience with the flobotomists here and they are very respectful , I personally have an anxiety condition that is very well regulated but the 3rd time I went in I did well until the return and once I started to have anxiety one of the kind people working here stayed by my side on and off until I was done and helped me to remain calm these workers take their job seriously and I have so much respect for all their staff!!also my partner who I go with has a slight phobia of needles and they have taken very good care of them as well!! Thank you for always caring about those who come into your office with respect ! I will continue to donate plasma as often as possible keep up the great work 5 stars aren’t enough for the incredible job they do here thank you to all staff and keep being amazing
The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. They do a fantastic job of getting people in an out. They always go out of their way make sure that we are taken care of and comfortable. Can't recommend this center enough.
The way this place books appointment is not efficient at all! It is clear they do not value our time as donors! I have been donating here since March. Today would have been my 20th donation, but the wait time WITH an appointment was way too long. Every time I go in, I wait at least 45 minutes past my appointment time to even scan my QR code. With that 45 minute wait time, there is usually 4 to 5 people in front of me. Today, I got there at 820 for a 830 appointment time. It looked pretty full in there so I asked how many people are in front of me and the lady said 9! She was very short and sharp with her responses. That's true for about half the staff usually. There are a few that are very nice and informative with actual customer service skills. There have only been two occasions that I didn't have to wait that long past my appointment time and that was when I made my appointment for the very first available appointment in the morning and was the first person at the door when they opened. These early appointments aren't usually an option for me due to my work schedule. I have tried giving the benefit of the doubt thinking maybe they are short staffed or something but after this long, it's all the same.
It's been a horrible week. Both Wednesday and today, Friday, it's been 3 plus hours of my time, despite me having an appointment. Not enough staff, way too many donors. The latest reviews all seem to be the same. Staff are nice but are way overworked. You need our plasma. We need money. Please compensate us for our time or raise what we receive. No bonuses, just this stamp thing where winning is unlikely. Think I'm gonna take a break because I have given 6 plus hours of my time for 110 dollars.
Donated 3 times and something has gone wrong every time. First time reception took down different info than I gave and I was waiting over an hour for nothing and had to start over. Second time at the end of the donation the needle was left in my arm for over 10 minutes and one of the techs turned off my machine and didn't disconnect me and went to another machine and immediately disconnected someone else. Third time the machine malfunctioned. Every time expect to be waiting for at least an hour even with an appointment. You're not gonna be in the chair for at least 90 minutes, and then you have at least another half hour of waiting after that. I can tell the staff is expected to do a million things at once and are doing their best but things are so disorganized and they seem very overworked. Like there are way too many appointment slots available for the amount of work they're actually able to do. The distribution of workers is also really uneven. A lot of the staff will kind of congregate and focus on one half of the donor room, and the other half just waits to be connected and start the appointment. I get the demand is high but it overall feels disrespectful to donors' time.
Inept management from the time they open to the time they close each day. Under staffing and a blatant disregard for their customers causes significant delays that are easily preventable. Telling donors their plasma is saving live is laughable. There bottom line is the most important thing and comes at the expense of their donors and is reflected in the agonizing donation experience.
I appreciate the extra cash, the clinical staff is wonderful. HOWEVER, I had a 5:15 appt today and it is currently 7:15pm, I just got to my bed because I was never called. Somehow I was overlooked. I am not even hooked up to a machine yet, still waiting for that.. I am a single mom with a small child hence the need for extra $$ it is incredibly insulting to have to wait for HOURS because the amount of appts booked are FAR too excessive for the staff to handle. It takes me 30-40 minutes to complete my donation usually... I wait longer just to go to kiosk, and then again to be screened, and then again to be hooked up. Donating is the quickest part and that is not right. I think the phlebotomists are great, they do what they can with what managment throws at them. I work in a medical setting, I understand things happen and sometimes the schedule runs behind but EVERY TIME I have had an appt they've NEVER been on time. Last week the same thing happened where I waited for over an hour and had to leave because I had other commitments. I respect other peoples time, I definitely expect the same in return... At this point, I am not sure I will continue to donate because of the lack of staff and inability to keep up with their own schedule. **your copy and paste response shows you're disinterest in donor concerns.
I used to donate frequently at a facility in a different city. Night and day compared to trying to get set up to do a first donation here. There, I could walk in any time and be done within an hour. Here, I didn't even get called back for screening until almost 4 hours after my scheduled appointment time. Only to be sent home because I'm participating in a *completely non invasive* research study. I offered to provide all of the study's documentation, which I have saved to my cloud, but they wouldn't accept it if it wasn't printed out. Y'all don't have printers??? NO indication online that this would be an issue either, in order to prepare the documents in advance. Got told that I would have to start the whole process over again when I got the paperwork. However, I will not be coming back. Literally who has the time? I already wasted basically one whole day, which is like a week in grad student time
This message is intended for the company of Grifols, corporate and the employees who won't stand up to them. I find your choices to absolutely terrible. I have donated over 10 years, long enough to watch the cycle that takes place again and again. You do not show value to your employees by overworking them. There IS ALWAYS A STAFFING ISSUE. It it so sickening as a donor to have to witness the new hirees excited to work for your business only to show signs of burnout, mistreatmemt and disdain after a short period. It's sick. You then lose your new employees and dedicated ones because your expectations are beyond unrealistic. I have witnessed a mutitude of quality phlebs leave because of how you manage your business. The employees get so tired and overworked there is then a HUGE freaking lag. My appointment was at 1. Its 315pm. I haven't even been poked. Why do I have to wait an hour every time I walk in the building because YOU GUYS CANNOT MANAGE YOUR CASELOAD!!?!?! Donating shouldn't take 3 plus hours for a regular!!! I do not blame the 3 employees who can barely walk and are trying to handle the insane amount of donors vs employees. That is another issue you create. Slow burnt out overworked employees. You are not creating any functional practice. Rather giving a horrible experience to employees and donors. Do you realize your numbers may go up if it didn't feel like having to visit hell for 4 hours in order to be able to donate??! This is a broken system and I will not continue to donate. It is a sad and horrible way to operate. Things could be totally different. I'd start with hiring FAST PEOPLE. Or folk's who at least have a quick pace. It is very not client friendly and I find it dispicable you feel this system is affective in anyway. I sat up front nearly 2 hours. Now Ive been in the back and there are at least 9 people who haven't been poked ahead of me. Totally not functional, waste of time. Doesn't change, repeat broken system not working. Make a bunch of choices that holds no merit- like paying to remove donor doors. This place makes so many choices that waste donors time and money. What a mess. I could've made more working minum wage for 3 hours. FIX YOUR SYSTEM AND STOP MAKING EXCUSES. MOVE FASTER. There are also people sleeping jn the back and nobody stopping them. This whole place is backward. :
