Love this place! It's in a little corner of a strip mall so don't let that fool you. The place is super quaint and the service is excellent. It's southern cuisine with high class restaurant twist. The food is excellent. You have to try this place, you'll be pleasantly surprised. This is the same owner of the Play House downtown I've been told.

Absolutely delicious Scallop Risotto is the best way to describe the dish I had tonight at Tam Tupelo Restaurant! I really enjoyed the French Onion Soup! Yummy!! The salmon was cooked nicely, and the half pound brisket burger was delicious as well! The sweet potato biscuit with sweetness on top was quite nice! Service was really good!

A Louisiana Culinary Delight I recently savored an unforgettable dining experience at a Louisiana-style restaurant. The perfectly cooked salmon, adorned with a flavorful herb crust, delighted my taste buds. The scallops risotto was a creamy indulgence, and the gumbo presented a hearty and flavorful medley of chicken, crawfish and andouille sausage. Not to be missed was the brisket burger infused with mouthwatering flavors. Additionally, the free sweet potato biscuits added a touch of sweetness to the meal, making them a delightful accompaniment. Last but not least, the French onion soup was a highlight of the meal. Its rich and comforting broth, topped with perfectly melted cheese and caramelized onions, transported me to the heart of French culinary tradition. In conclusion, this beautiful restaurant from the delicious salmon and indulgent scallops risotto to the hearty gumbo, tempting brisket burger, sweet potato biscuits , and unforgettable French onion soup, each dish showcased the skillful and experienced chef who prepared them.

This place gives me all the feels! Southern hospitality, comfort food and good vibes! The service is on point and the ambiance is cozy, yet well lit. The food is amazing and the owners are genuine and down to earth. The Cauliflower Buffalo dip is so good and was a tasty starter for my vegetarian family members. And OMG, the smoked wings with the sauce mix is a must try… thank me later. Tam’s Tupelo has one of the best shrimp and grits dishes I’ve ever had! The baked chicken thighs were seasoned to perfection! Chef’s kiss. And if you save room for dessert, get the chocolate brownie or the Cobbler a la mode. I was visiting from out of town and went twice in the week I was there, because one visit wasn’t enough for everything my tastebuds wanted to try. I went on a Wednesday my first visit and they had half price bottles of wine. Highly recommend and would visit again and again!

Service was excellent! Menu choices were amazing and unique. Bleu cheese dressing was out of this world. Both entrees were outstanding. The bessalmon ever! Knocked off one star because it's very loud.

Forgot to leave a review, remembered to come back because I literally cannot stop thinking about this place. My husband and I came in last Saturday and we both left saying that was the best meal we’d had since we could remember. The atmosphere is big money while the bill is not. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. The food was amazing. The complementary sweet potato biscuits are next level. I had barbecue devine and the absolute best mac and cheese I’ve ever had. My husband had what he calls the best étouffée he’s ever had. Portions were huge, took home leftovers. Had a blast trying to figure out all the different berries in the mixed berry cobbler with bourbon vanilla ice cream. We were mind-blown at the quality of food and service and the price. I’ve told everyone I know about this place and will definitely be back. 10/10 would recommend.

I drove from East Hall to have lunch by myself because the menu here has had my interest for awhile now. I had the Southern fried chicken salad with the popular house dressing. The absolute best salad I’ve had in years. Now waiting for the arrival of peach cobbler with ice cream. I look forward to bringing my husband back soon. There are several dishes I need to try over time so I’m excited for future visits!! Thanks for a wonderful lunch.

I drove by this restaurant many times but never had the thought of stopping by until it was personally recommended to me and it did not disappoint. I ate here for lunch and the variety of choices were great. I had the Pastrami Ruben and it was the best I've ever had. My friends had salmon, chicken sandwich and shrimp dishes which also did not disappoint. For someone like me, I can handle a big meal, but I did struggle a little to finish my sandwich as it was flavorful and mouthwatering. Tam's Tupelo is well worth the drive! Parking: Additional parking is in the back area.

Loved this place! The food was so flavorful and unique. We enjoyed the Lobster Benedict, Tupelo Gumbo, and the complimentary biscuits. It’s a semi-casual brunch atmosphere with friendly and professional service. Great job all around!

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Tupelo restaurant and I must say we were thoroughly impressed! From start to finish, our experience was amazing. First, the menu selection was outstanding. They had a wonderful array of dishes to choose from. We were pleasantly surprised at how affordable the prices were compared to the quality of food we received. Our server was super friendly and a pro at what she did. She clearly had been in the restaurant business for a while and made sure to provide us with excellent service throughout our meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was delightful, with comfortable seating that was just the right amount. The lighting and ambiance were perfect for a relaxing dining experience. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our first dining experience at Tupelo and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience. The menu selection, pricing, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch!
