I love visiting this place. A bit expensive to live in but so is everything in Ludington.
I remember living here and I had to say, it was the best part of my childhood. Neighbors were nice, cool playground, great outdoors, just endless perfect!

Staff is super helpful. The residents are not nearly as pleasant. Used to be kind elderly folks, now it appears to be out of state plates with bad attitudes.
The management here is superb !!!!! Kind office people and always willing to help. They are knowledgeable and go beyond expectation. The SUN PROPERTIES are the new owners and most people DO NOT LIKE IT HERE SINCE THEY BOUGHT THIS PLACE. Yes new improvements are being made which this place needed badly. That is a good thing. However if you have individual needs or need an exception for GOOD REASON they WILL NOT WORK WITH YOU. To improve it would be nice to get individual needs taken care of instead of one generic rule. Everyplace is different and every situation is different. Take this into consideration before ever considering this place. Property dues go up 5% every single year which is getting outrageous for not owning the property. However you do have to abide by the rules in maintaining your property which I think is a good thing. I like rules for cleanliness I don’t like their rules if you want to improve your place and they won’t allow you to. This place is clean , safe and a little paradise. Being a new owner here I would like to see them bend their strict rules a little and allow improvements that make the owners happy and neighbors happy. People complaining all the time now that have lived here 10 plus years. Instead it is runned now like a business and I feel we are just numbers.
The lake views are spectacular and the clubhouse is a great place for large gatherings.
Wonderfully well keep trailee/ manafactor homes park. Some sites on water canals that have access to Hamlin lake5000 acre lake have great fo fishing n boating Its a full time parks that also offers seasonal sites. Has a children's play area, a club house and a nice marina. About 5 miles to the town of Ludington..
I have had an horrible experience living here due too the management both with Tamarac Village & Sun Communities. They don’t treat people fairly. If you get on “Vera’s wrong side you will pay” and I have been told that by many! This is not my first comment either!!! They keep taking them down, which is a joke!
So many rules. Office lady never happy. Every resident I’ve spoken with has nothing good to say about her.
Kept clean, cannot fish there unless your a registered an legal resident if you are you can get away with taking a friend there tho
