Increase your energy, feel great in your body, and live your best life now at www.tamispence.com
Sometimes life feels like it’s just one big dieting roller coaster that never, ever stops!
You do really well for a while, staying away from sugar, walking away from cheese, eating more salads… You start losing a little weight and feeling proud of yourself for being awesome. And then you go out with friends. Or you wake up too late one morning to pack your lunch for that day. Or you watch a pizza commercial…
And then you’re right back where you started again, except this time it’s worse because you’ve failed once again and you’re even more convinced that you’ll never be able to get control over this “healthy eating” thing and maybe you were just never meant to be one of “those healthy people” anyway. So why bother, right? Pass the chocolate!
That’s exactly how I used to feel.
I did all of the above over and over and over again and was absolutely convinced that it was just the natural cycle of life for me. I was cursed to love food, lots of it, and the richer the better.
But then I discovered something that had been missing for me up until that point. It was the last piece of the puzzle that I hadn’t even known I needed, but it was the key to turning everything around for me and finally putting me on that healthy path that I’d always tried (and failed) to be on.
I finally learned how to eat food that I LOVE, that makes me feel AMAZING, and that makes sense for me, for my body, and for my lifestyle.
And I haven’t looked back since. :)
We all have different things that push us toward change. For me it was feeling exhausted, out of energy ALL THE TIME, and not being able to lose the baby weight after my second child was born. For you, it may be something completely different. But whatever it is, if you’re at that point where you feel like you absolutely HAVE to change your life because whatever you’re doing right now just isn’t working (and hasn’t been working for a while), then you’re in the right place.
I have seen the power that food and lifestyle have had in my life and the amazing way they have completely transformed my world. And I can’t wait to share that with you.
I’ll teach you everything I’ve learned and empower you to see the same amazing change in your life. I’ll help you learn how to make real, sustainable changes that are right for you, right now, and in the middle of everything you have going on. I’ll do everything I can to support you as you go out into this world to live your best life – the one you were meant to live – full of love, vitality, and joy. I want you to find your energy! And I want you to live your best life now.

Some Random Facts About Me…
1. Part of living my best life means hanging out with my kiddos and getting out in the world as much as I can. We’re lucky to have family and friends all over the world and we love to travel and visit loved ones as much as we’re able to.
2. One of my favorite memories from college was performing in a steel drum band. We played all the cheesy stuff like Under the Sea and Margaritaville and it was awesome! :)
3. I probably watch a bit more TV than I really should but I love it! Especially the good dramas like Homeland and Mad Men, the comedies like The Mindy Project and Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and reality shows like (of course!) Top Chef! ;)
4. I can’t whistle.
5. When I was 3 I convinced my grandfather that I could read. In reality I had just memorized the book (The Cat in the Hat) and I still remember much of it today!
6. Although I cook at home much of the time (and encourage my clients to do the same), I LOVE eating out and I’m a sucker for a prix-fix menu – if it exists, you can pretty much bet that I’ll be ordering the whole shebang, wine pairings and all!
About My Training
After many years in the IT industry as a programmer and quality assurance analyst, I knew it was time for a change. I wanted to follow my heart and spread more good, health, and joy in the world, so I took the leap and I couldn’t be happier about it today! :)
I received my health coaching certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, where I was trained in a wide range of dietary theories and holistic health practices. I am a board member of the AADP (American Association of Drugless Practitioners) and I continue to supplement my training with additional studies and certifications every chance I get. The fields of nutrition, holistic health, and transformation coaching are ever-changing and evolving, and I’m doing my best to ensure that I am too!
What others are saying about working with me…
“Thank YOU! Congratulations go to you for taking on such a difficult subject (me) and getting positive results. I do not normally speak/write in superlatives, so having said that: I want you to know that living this Challenge has been the best experience I have ever had while trying to achieve a healthier me! It took about a week-and-a-half, but my energy level soared and the cloud of funk hanging over me finally began to dissipate. I feel certain that interesting and fun habits are now instilled and that I have a solid foundation on which to continue. I really enjoyed the support from you and the other participants in the Challenge. No matter what level we are in our realm of health, encouragement and support was always there!”

“I’ve lost weight and inches and not only are the recipes healthy and delicious, they are easy to fit into a busy schedule. I also love how her tips about how to make healthy lifestyle changes are achievable for anyone. BUT that’s not even my favorite part! I have gotten the most out of the supportive community she fosters. It’s so enjoyable to hear about everyone’s successes during the group challenges and the encouragement you receive when you struggle is what makes those successes possible in the first place. I highly recommend Tami’s coaching and group challenges to anyone who is looking to lead a healthier lifestyle.”

“Just wrapped up the latest challenge and I want to say thanks, Tami, for all the work that you do to help all of us see healthy successes on a daily basis. Really want you to know that I was a half believer in the real power of diet (not dieting) until I completed my first 3-week plan with you. For me, seeing was believing! Weight loss and weight “control” have been a side benefit. I feel really good. An unexpected benefit for me to note has been improvement for my eye issues I have struggled with since the mid 1980’s. My list of issues is long…dry, red, swollen, allergies, medications…to name a few. I have to say, I see different eyes today, brighter and not so swollen. I can even wear eye make-up! I went into this thinking “weight loss” and then other good things happened. So I want to thank you for your persistence, your time and your expertise. I really look forward to staying on your list for these challenges. Keeps me on track. I don’t even worry so much about “falling off the wagon” on a vacation!”
