TAN TAN® Restaurant was started in 1986 as a small family business. We have grown as our surrounding community has grown. Our continued success is due in large part to our family of hardworking employees, quality vendors, and loyal customers. Our goal is to share a part of our culture, one rich in flavor and tradition, with our community. We strive to serve our patrons authentic Chinese and Vietnamese cuisine. We are sincerely thankful for your patronage and wish all good health and good fortune.

However, not all the dishes lived up to our expectations. The dumplings, unfortunately, fell short. They didn't possess the same level of flavor and quality as the other dishes we tried. Love Love TAN TAN they never disappoint. Great service, amazing selection, incredible food, extremely clean, large portions for very reasonable prices. I have been going here for 20 plus years and never been disappointed.Food: 5/5
Every time is a great time! Tan tan serves Vietnamese & Chinese Food and they have a wide selection and everything is homemade and phenomenal. The waitress and manager was consistently checking in to make sure we were pleased with the food. Top tier service. Soft shell crabs is ammmaZzzingFood: 5/5
It's one of my favorite favorite places to go in Chinatown Houston. I can not dine here without ordering their house special rice cake. An absolute must try!Food: 5/5
Visiting Houston for the week, I wanted pho. Large place with plenty of seats, we didn't have to wait to be seated on a Friday night for dinner. They were able to accommodate five of us with just a quick table adjustment, we had ample of space. Sooooo many items to choose from, I'm sure there is something for the pickiest of eaters. Everything we order was good. Please note that they don't bring all the food at once, as they bring the plates to the table as it's ready, so we had people eating and some time later the next plate, but not a deal breaker for me. The waitresses were helpful and friendly. I requested a change to my plate, but they couldn't accommodate as they do at my local Pho restaurant. Overall it was a good place to spend time eating and catching up with family and friends. Vegetarian options: Plenty to choose from

A classic Vietnamese Chinese fusion restaurant, it’s a massive place that still manages to give great quality food and service. We came in late, and still got great quality. We ordered the duck soup, fried rice, and sesame chicken, and they all came out amazing. Great prices for the portion sizes and quality. Definitely try the fried rice and duck soup at least once. A well kept establishment that’s been there a very long time, but still gives out great classics.
Good service here! Fried shrimps are huge and really good. Would not recommend the shaking beef cause the cubes are too big and there’s not that much flavor since they are deep fried and not “shaken”
It was not good like it used to be. They never made it per my request, extra crunchy. It's too soft. It didn't tasye likebit fully cook
