I will absolutely never go back to Tanner-Carrollton!! I have given them chance after chance and every time it’s something. This last visit 9/1 I went for chest pains it took the staff 3 1/2 hrs to even do a EKG, X-rays or even take any tests on me. My room was filthy it had blood on the floor and someone else’s pee was left. The bathrooms were filthy also had blood all in the sink and on the floor. I was discharged with muscle relaxers. Next day had to go to Tanner Villa rica to find out I have pneumonia on my lungs. Which never should have been missed in the first place.
The emergency room area is always the nasty, they have trash every where blankets food on the floor, I literally watched an older gentleman bleed all over the floor and wheelchair. Some of the nurses are sweet I can say, but others act like they don't wanna be here and do their jobs and want to be rude with a child
I will NEVER knowingly choose to go to any Tanner facilities again. The staff are the worst. I went there for some testing. The only bright spot were the valet drivers and the people in registration. It went downhill from there. The person who came out to get me did not speak, I had to literally speak to her and she acted like it caused her pain to speak back. I had to fast for this test, so no food after midnight. I’m diabetic so my blood sugar will drop drastically after going without eating or drinking anything after a while. With this being a hospital they should know this about diabetic patients. My tests were not over until 12:00 pm and by that time I started to feel a little shaky. Asked for an Apple juice or for even a graham cracker. Was rudely told they didn’t have anything, to check with the front desk. I questioned how they expected people, especially diabetics to be okay after not eating anything? Was told there was a cafeteria around the corner. My question is, what if I didn’t have any money? These people, mind you in a hospital, were perfectly fine with sending someone who stated their blood sugar was low to get in a car and potentially pass out behind the wheel. Shame on you as a medical facility. I saw a lot of elderly people who may not have funds and think they can make it home to eat in time. Even the person at the cafeteria register was borderline rude. Just a bunch of rude and unhappy people. You don’t need that type of energy, especially if you’re going through health issues. You want and need to be around positive energy. This is not the place to get it.
The doctors, nurses, and techs were all great taking care of me. They kept me and my family informed and helped me with my concerns and fears. They were very supportive and helpful to me and my family. Doctor Moody was so great and just a joy to be around. He was genuinely concerned about me and I felt well cared for by him and the nurses and technicians who helped me
Went in to get my tubes removed. I was asked multiple times if I was sure I wanted this. No more babies. They're very sweet. It was very in and out procedure once it started. And I'm here next day. Fairly sore but really good. Thank you Tanner medical center. Good job Dr. Jewell, thank you so much!
The doctors and staff are wonderful at Tanner Carrollton. I recently had surgery there and it went so smoothly. They really did everything to make me comfortable and keep me and my family well informed. I definitely recommend Tanner!
A hidden jewel! My family has used Tanner Carrollton or the past 30+ years. We won't go anywhere else. The care is the best! My last ER visit was for a chipped bone/sprained ankle. I was treated and "released" before the registrar came in to get my personal info. Everyone is phenomenal and the care is hands down the best!
Just had my first baby here last week! When you’re pregnant, you always here horror stories about the hospital, so of course I was really nervous when I was admitted to the hospital for labor. The first nurse that I saw, Hayley, was very sweet and attentive. In my birth plan I had put that I wanted a natural birth but I had contractions at home for 2 days and was exhausted, so I opted for the epidural. She made sure that was what I really wanted before getting the anesthesiologist and helped me breath through contractions until then and held my hand as I was getting the epidural as well. I had gotten really attached to her so when she came into my room to tell me she was leaving for the day, I was nervous, but the night shift nurses were just as amazing! They took care of me, fed me ice chips, and really helped me get through labor and pushing. About 4 or 5 nurses helped me push, and they were all so encouraging and and kind, I wish I could remember all of their names. The nurses who helped me during recovery as well were AWESOME. They helped me to the bathroom and were just super attentive, kind, and took very good care of me and my husband as well. I loved nurse April. I also saw Dr. Goss for a few appointments during my pregnancy, she was the first Dr. I met with and after that I initial appointment my husband and I really hoped she would be the one to delivery our son and she was! We appreciate Dr. Goss very much! All in all my husband and I were very impressed and happy with our experience. Thank you Tanner for taking great care of my family
I just gave birth to my 4th child and this hospital and experience was by far the most pleasant and amazing experience I've had. They listened to me and didn't hesitate when I said anything. Venus was my main nurse when I was first admitted and I swear everything went so smoothly thanks to her. The man who did my epidural was incredibly fast, friendly, and funny. When I felt like I needed to push, not even 5 minutes later, the doctor and a swarm of nurses were in my room, prepped, and ready to deliver. There was not one person who wasn't amazing. One nurse said something funny which caused me to start laughing and I literally laughed my baby out instead of pushing him out lol. Even the food was fantastic!
Came is from out of state and had to be seen at their Emergency Department. From the time I walked in the door they took care of me. I had several tests done and every technician was professional and caring. They constantly checked on me and made sure if I needed anything to ask. I was nervous going in but they made sure all was ok and gave great care. Thank you so much to the entire team that looked after me.
