I have never really had a bad visit at this Target, and we are here at least once a week. The Pharmacy team is AMAZING - they are incredibly helpful, they remember our family and our names before they even look us up. The rest of the staff are always helpful, and the cashiers are friendly to me and my kids, often having a friendly chat with us as we check out. Returns and exchanges have always been smooth and easy.
I had the worse experience with a specific customer service staff. I ordered a bundle online, you buy the product and you get free items with the product. During this busy holiday I understand some items may be out of stock. So one of the free items got canceled and they only had one. BUT get this I was only able to pick up the free item at this location because other locations were sold out, and this location was an hour and a half away from where I lived. THIS staff told me I HAVE to pay for the free item because there was only one in stock and that I couldn’t just buy the camera separately! PLEASE know your target online order policy. You could purchase anything online to pick up in store. I CALLED TARGET WHILE I WAS THERE AND THE REP TOLD ME THE ITEM WILL BE FREE BUT THE STAFF AT THE LOCATION KEPT ARGUING that their policy is different than online... are you kidding me? This experience made me not want to shop at Target anymore. Who pays for free items?
I love having this Target in my Brooklyn Center neighborhood. I love that it's close to my home, I love that I have a comfortable knowledge of its layout. All that being said, this store is very hard to shop in the daytime. I stop in there frequently before I head to my job or errands and since the new policy of stocking shelves during the day has happened there are not only stocking carts and employees in the aisles, there are many times where the aisles are completely blocked. I've left many times without things on my list because I could not access the aisle. During this holiday season I've had employees roll their eyes at me if I want to go down an aisle they are working in, I've heard employees complain that they can't get their job done because of shoppers. I'm shopping there - I'm spending money there - I shouldn't feel like I'm an inconvenience. I'm worried about my Target. I want to be supportive of this business in my neighborhood, but it's getting difficult. Earlier this week I stopped in right when the store opened for a number of things and there were no cashier stations with lights on and the self-checkouts where one out of the four was not functioning had lines down the entrance aisle. I've always loved Target's philosophy of speedy checkouts and a "take the money" priority. I'm sad and don't want to take my business to the Fridley location. Is this location in jeopardy of closing?
I love this Target because sometimes it feels like your own secret target. If you go at 8 theses virtually no one there. I wish they had a bigger selection of groceries, but they have all of my other products. The store is always clean, with friendly staff.
My job brings me close to this Target store several times a month. I am grateful for the wonderful choice of Amy's frozen vegetarian entrees. I also do lots of other shopping here, from personal care items, to household items, getting cards, and other. Staff always pleasant and helpful, and checkout is always efficient.
People who are working there want to help you. Clean, tidy and has a positive feeling from the employees. The Pharmacy team is fantastic!. They always go out of their way to help you. Other Targets should take a hint from this one.. Who ever is managing this team is doing a great job. Because this is not a large super Target, it sometimes does not have the largest of selections. But maybe that will change someday..
There was a very nice girl there that checked me out as I was standing in another line. She quickly grabbed my things and said she could help me as she began to ring up my items. I was short about two dollars and i told her i had to run to my car quickly to grab the rest and she covered it for me. We started talking about kiddos and she told me she was expecting. She barely looked like she was showing. #Jealous. As I was getting ready to go, she said Happy mothers day to me. Such amazing customer service. Such a sweet young girl. Way to go target. You have yourself some awesome employees.
I love this Target because it's conveniently close to home and not many people shop there but my last time being there, my bank got a security breach notification and they had to send me a new card, so I now have to go through the trouble of changing the electronic payments of every bill I have. Target in general needs to up their security. =_=
Been going to this target for about 20yrs now. This particular target has never had all the “bells & whistles” the other targets have. Nor do they have all the inventory other targets have, and often the shelf’s aren’t fully stocked. That has always been fine by me - since it where I’ve always gone. The last three time I’ve been in there now I’ve been stopped by staff to be searched as in they have stopped me while I was shopping to look through my stuff. This is complete outrageous, they’ve done it twice when I’ve had my baby with me I let it go, because when she’s with me I have her entire car seat carrier thing/ I have worked in retail, so understand why they think I could I hide stuff in there . When I went in to target last night she was not with me & I wasn’t even carrying a purse my wallet & phone were in my pocket. Its completely ridiculous/ uncalled for. I used to go to this target twice a month. Other family memebers of mine go here weekly. None of us will be going to this location any longer.
Love target. Clean. Quiet. Friendly. Have had a few small issues over the years but nothing serious. Only rater a 4 out 5 because I have found expired food on shelves on occasion which should not happen. Still prefer over walmart or cub!
