I've been coming to this target consistently ever since I was a baby, throughout my teen years & up to now. Extremely clean inside, polished glossy shiny floors, very spacious inside, they have a great clothings section with a lot of cute outfits to choose from, very respectful staff, very nice food section as I love all the vegetarian + vegan frozen plates & dishes that they sell here, and the lines are never too long either as the employees are very fast workers. And as much as I love Walmart, I really love Target too because even though target is pricier, the QUALITY is alot better in Target. And the interior and exterior of this specific Target is very well kept too. So yeah. Love coming here on the weekends with my mom. Definite 5 out of 5
With there only being one restroom available for the time being here currently renovating you'd think it be cleaner. Just not a great experience they I would expect from Target. Luckily the customer service was great and everyone was very helpful.
I come to this location very often even before construction. I made a purchase of no more than one bag of groceries. One of the items that I purchased was a screen protector for the iPhone 14 Pro Max and it did not fit the phone because it was too small. I didn't realize the screen protector was only for the iPhone 14 Pro because before that, I had to find the product by myself even after asking a nearby employee who then radioed an associate that was across the store. After arriving she told me: "There are more on the other side" then left. They have added around 4-6 new self checkouts which means 3 cashiers are gone. These self checkout machines do record your purchase on the screen as well as your bagging. I did not get my change back from the machine, nor a receipt. I stood there looking back and forth at the screen for about 2 minutes because it read: "A Target employee will arrive very soon to help. Please wait." There were numerous employees nearby, but I saw absolutely none of them looking near my self checkout. My change from the machine was +$0.59. After waiting for an employee that never came, I figured "I'll live." and left the store. Less than 10 minutes after my purchase, I was at the return center. I was asked for my ID and my receipt. When I told the associate over the counter that I did not receive a receipt he told me that he would have to print one from the tech office. After waiting nearly an hour at the counter with no updates, nowhere to sit, and a phone ringing very frequently right next to me, I was furious. I kept my cool, but this inconvenience was absolutely outrageous. Finally, the employee who left me waiting was finally back at the counter. I heard him talking to the manager standing next to him that he did not have the key to the office and they could not find it. He asked me "Cash or card" but at that point I could not care less. Waiting nearly an hour for a refund of ONE item I had purchased less than 10 minutes ago is absolutely ridiculous and unacceptable. Target you have lost a loyal customer that has shopped at your store for 9 years. Congratulations.
I shopped at this branch of Target many times. It is conveniently located 3 miles away from historic College Park. There are enough staffers on the floor to help shoppers find items. It is currently undergoing renovation so the layout is different but the shopping experience is still great! Why 4 stars? The in-store shopping experience is excellent. 9 out of 10 times I don’t encounter any problems once I leave the store. However, one afternoon in early October 2022, there was a family of beggars right outside the doors. I gave one of the teens a $10. That was a big mistake. A stranger jumped in front of me and scolded me for “making the girl stand up” to take the money. It was a very enraging experience. Not one I care to repeat. I hope Camp Creek Marketplace will discourage beggars from the parking lots. Nothing can be done about self-righteous strangers who are generous with their scolds but stingy with everything else.
I am very upset with my return from today. I completed several purchases $$$ for clothes for my daughter and some etc, and earned a Target Circle reward of $20. Then I decided to use that reward to offset some of the cost for a few items of clothing that my son needed. One of the pairs of pants that I bought was too big, so I just returned them but only got half of what I paid back. I was told this was because I used my reward. I spent WELL OVER the $20 award amount, and this should NOT affect my return amount. Maybe it's silly to be upset over such a small amount, but $5 to me matters a whole lot more than $5 to Target. Shame on you, big corporation, for taking my money. This "reward" should be advertised for what it is.
If you decide to shop at this store PLEASE ask for employee named DJ! He will go out of his way to make your shopping experience goes well. He ensured my concerns surrounding a return were taken care of and even remembered and asked me during another shopping experience if I was satisfied
This Target location is the GHETTO!! Today was my first and last visit to this location because it is not representative of the brand. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from here if you can. The manager that was on duty does not have an ounce of common sense! I visited this location to purchase my brother new pants for work. The location is undergoing construction so their fitting rooms are closed. My brother recently lost weight so we weren’t sure of his size. I asked the manager if we could try on the pants in the restroom while he counted the pants and stood outside the same way they do for the fitting rooms. He said, “No, the only option is to purchase all the pants and then return the ones that don’t fit.” His tone was very dismissive, and he was unapologetic about the lack of an option for a fitting room. Even WALMART has allowed me to try on clothes in the restroom with the presence and the supervision of a manager when the fitting rooms were closed. He could have at least been semi-accommodating and allowed us to try on one or two pair to at least have the best idea of the size that would most likely fit. Since I didn’t have any other option, I proceeded to purchase the pants $200 worth and then try them on in the restroom. After we found the ones that fit, I then immediately went to the Exchanges and Return counter to return the pants that didn’t fit. This entire process and experience was RIDICULOUS and a waste of my time. This could have easily been avoided with a little common sense. If this was the manager’s response and attitude, you can only imagine what the employees’ customer service skills are like. Again, do yourself a favor, and avoid this location if at all possible.
A good experience associates was very nice check out time was excellent did not have to wait in line store was very clean. Associate was able to help me with what I was looking for. You all just did not sell that item.
I went there looking for yarn, didn't see any asked an employee do they sale yarn, she told me what aisle to look on went there no yarn. Just left out the store. Rarely go to Target because I can never find what I'm looking for.
