My expecting wife and I went to Target to check out some baby stuff. Specifically, we were looking for rocking chairs. None of the specialty baby stores had what we were looking for. To our surprise, Target had a few floor models available to try out. We found one we liked and assumed we would need to order, but the very helpful employee informed us that there was actually 1 in the back. Another nice Target employee helped me load it into our SUV. Not only did we get a great deal, but we were helped every step of the way.
Came in for my 3rd round of Tabitha Brown haul and all the popcorn is gone. The Black History section was replenished very pleased with the selection we need this year round! I am not happy with items on the app stating they are in stock which they aren't. There was a nice employee who informed me this could be items backed up on an unloaded truck that scanned in but not on the floor yet. It made sense just wish the item was physically on the shelf to buy. When the weave baskets when on sale last week this was a horrible ordeal my pickup was cancelled without notice and again it allowed me to check the items out only to later come up sorry not in stock. No one reached out and still waiting on a response. You cannot void an item on self checkout and keep going so better to do it at the very end. An associate has to come void and collect the item themselves. I understand the reason just time consuming in the end making it less convenient. The card selection is a nice diverse selection and hoping these stay year round. Restock Tabitha Brown's section please
Well-organized and clean location. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Have had great experiences both inside and at the drive up. Appreciate your team and the hard work you all put in.
Waited to return an item while employees were in the back room talking to each other and no one was at the counter... A line started to form behind me. When the employee finally did arrive to the counter, she was apathetic and non apologetic. Hire better employees.
So today I was in another Target store that now has really good music playing! This makes my Target run even more enjoyable. Everyone in Target--employees as well as customers--are chill. Positive vibes are here.
I recently bought a chocolate near the self checkouts and it turned out to be expired!! I usually get Chocolates for my Siblings, so i got a snickers. She said she never tasted a snickers as stale as that one.. im not blaming the whole store for this, but maybe the front people should check the candies expiration dates more often than they do.
Did a quick stop at Joliet Target before I went to my Hotel on US 30/I-55 tonight. Stock improved.
I went in to find a new purse in a pinch because mine had just broken. I found one that I liked for a decent price. Inspected it to make sure it would fit my ipad and my wristlet that holds my wallet, keys..ect. I then browsed for a while. Picked up a couple things, put some things back knowing they were impulse buys. Pretty standard trip. Went to check out. Only one lane with a cashier was open and the rest of the lanes were self check out. I purchased the few items I had in my cart some plastic dishes for the patio, a claw clip, body wash and THE purse. As soon as I scanned my barcode to pay on my phone I was approached by an employee and she said she needed to look inside the newly purchased purse. I said that’s fine, my wristlet with my wallet is inside. She asked me to remove it and searched the bag. She didn’t find anything in there because I wasn’t stealing from your store. Next time you think someone is stealing, make sure they’re really stealing before you ask to search their belongings. They were my belongings because I just paid for them. I’ve made hundreds of purchases from target, but this put me off a little bit. This is the store closest to my new home, but it will be my last. Im sure they have a problem with theft there and I get that since 75% of the store is covered in security tags, but that was embarrassing and not justified.
Nicely laid out store. No problem finding what I need. Bathrooms are clean. Seamless self checkout. No complaints with this Target store
It was cool for this visit. Everything was alright. I just stopped for a couple of items. In and out.
