Staff very helpful. I had a $3.50 coupon. Bought $250 in merchandise. She scanned the coupon and said good to go. But after looking at my receipt it wasn't taken off. Also store does not carry as much product as online.
Don’t come here looking to be helped! I went in simply to get color matched. 2 ladies color matched me totally incorrectly, I walked out with a yellow face. I also was looking for a perfume and knew which one I wanted. I waited about 5 minutes before I found a person to help me. Then we she walked away with the perfume in her hands she tells me it’ll be up front, doesn’t even make eye contact just starts to walking away with it. Unless you know what you’re looking for, I’d avoid this store.
Rave - Great experience with my hair cut. RANT no handicapped buttons to open doors, my walker was difficult to get through. The greeter helped me in and had to move shelves in the aisles so I could get back to the end of the store for my haircut. Please consider making your stories handicapped friendly. Not all your clients are young!
One of the employees gave me a total attitude because I grabbed a tester not knowing I couldn't buy it for safety reasons. She gave me such an attitude, how about restock then. I always come here and never have an issue but with this employee I felt attacked and disappointed in the store and how she talked to me.
Understaffed and had to wait quite along time over 10 minutes being polite as was a little longer to get product in drawers because shelves weren't stocked. Then 7 guest on line with one person checking out guest.
I came here with two of my friends yesterday. One of which is getting married and has been really stressed and busy with wedding planning. I really want to just say I truly appreciate all the girls, Alicia, Melissa and the girls at the register, whose names I couldn’t get. I know you guys were stressed out with us being there a little bit after closing time. I’ve been there before, and I just wanted to say I know what that’s like. But I just wanted to say thank you guys so much for your patience and helping us get what we needed. Truly. Thank you guys! I hope they see this.
I’ve always had great experiences at Ulta, usually I go to Orland park. My visit to the Joliet location was terrible. Associates were no help and made me and my mom feel uncomfortable. Two ladies/associates kept following us around as if we were going to steal something and were constantly giving us mean looks. Made us feel very uncomfortable. We decided to leave the products behind and left the store. I should’ve spoken to a manager, but there was honestly no use in causing a scene. I will not be returning to this location.
I never get helped here. Always ignored and if I do ask someone they say they don't know. And then go off to help someone else. It's probably because I'm not all dressed up and wearing makeup. I'm not as pretty as I should be but I would just like some help with hair products. I don't want to go back to this place with the rude unhelpful staff.
I opened a credit card online and I have had nothing but problems. I went in to this store after customer care said I could use that card, that all issues were solved. They weren’t I still have yet to be able to use this credit card that I opened two months ago. First time in this store the young lady called customer care over to the side of the store counter privately to help resolve the issue. The second time the general manager Cheryl handed me the phone over the counter, I’m asked in front of tons of people 4x to repeat my address, zip code, last 4 of my social, and phone number, not privately, loud in front of anyone and then when I got loud and very anger customer care hung up and they threatened to kick me out of the store. I even apologized to Cheryl said I was bipolar and I’m tired of being embarrassed in this store over this negligent credit card that I can’t exactly return but she refused to speak to me and paid for $200 of product even after the incident. I can’t believe a general manger had me stand there with a phone across a counter in between people purchasing items, all the information needed to steal someone identity. The young lady the first time this happened handled this the right way. If I have credit fraud issues I will be suing ulta.
We had a great experience here. Bobbe helped us to get our foundation color and good makeup products. She's such an amazing person!
