Where I buy all of my daily essentials Online pick up service is decent. Cashiers are good. Store is well organized.
2023 update: shopped inside today around 8pm. Great selection of kids toys and fast checkout. I highly recommend this target location. 2021 Update: ordered for pickup in store. 1st time doing so at this location. Everything went smoothly & my order was ready when I picked it up. 4 stars now instead of the original 3. 2020:It’s Friday at 330pm & I’ve been standing in line for 9minutes. There are 8 registers and only 2 open. I have only 2 items, please staff the registers and we’ll be all good. Other than that, that’s all the issues I have.
Target is one of the best one stop shop for a long time. This is one of the best places to pick up all your needs and wants without having to go far. Targets prices have always been pretty reasonable but not always the best. This target usually gets crowded in the afternoon so come early. They have lots of services provided such as pharmacy, self check out, photo, beauty, electronics, and many more. They also have a market where you can buy groceries but is very limited to what you can buy there. I do wish they keep more merchandise in stock more as it seems to be out of stock most of the time. For a big target it seems they don't have a lot of product available. Service is always nice here and they do try their best to move the line when it gets busy. They will even go as far as price checking online for you so you don't pay premium. A great place to shop or window shop!
The Target on Mira Mesa Blvd has the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my life! Employees there have been very rude to me on more than one occasion. I can only hope it's just this location and not all of them. The most recent one, which I experienced today, involved the cashier arguing with me and being condescending when I asked about a sale sign and applicable clothing. When the manager allowed the sale to apply to my purchase after seeing the sign, the cashier kept making negative comments in what seemed like an attempt to make me feel guilty such as, "This shouldn't apply but I'll give it to you anyway." On another occasion, an employee handling the self checkout line accused me of not scanning an item, even after I showed her the screen that it was scanned! She also kept arguing with me about it even though the evidence was right there. She was extremely rude and did not even apologize when she realized her mistake. I also witnessed her yelling very loudly, in a condescending tone, at someone who was trying to figure out how to work the steps on the keypad; she should have went up to that person to assist in a professional manner instead of humiliating them. On a third occasion, I was attempting to use the drive-up service. It had been more than 2 hours since I placed my order so it should have been ready but there was no indication that it was. But I was pregnant and on the way home with my toddler so I decided to try and check anyway. First problem: nobody answered the phone after multiple attempts. Second, I tried to flag an employee who was dropping off items for another customer but she said she could not help me at all. So I had to take my very pregnant self and toddler out of the car to go inside to the customer service desk. It turns out, there was a glitch in the app and my items were in fact ready. Then, as the employee was assisting me on the way out she suggested that next time I catch an employee who is already outside and ask for their help, to which I said this is exactly what I did and the woman who refused to help me was right in front of us. Lastly, after today's incident, the cashier made it seem that sometimes items under a sale sign are in fact NOT on sale. She said it's been like this "for years." If this is true, this is very deceitful and confusing. I suggest that if there is a particular sale sign to be placed on a rack, all the items on that rack should be applicable to said sign. All of this makes me not want to return to Target and I have had my Red Card for over 10 years. Should I continue to have these negative experiences, I will then limit my spending by only buying what i need online since I tend to buy things I do not need in person; and/or I will take my business elsewhere.
My go-to place to get anything really. Curbside pick up is also super convenient and fast. Returns and customer service has always been great as well.
This store was very well cleaned and maintained. Everything was in stock. The guy that checked us out was very friendly, probably one of the friendliest I have ever seen in any target. By the way his name was Don. Overall, this Target was very well maintained and friendly. I highly recommend this place for some shopping. x
Prices displayed incorrectly and manager Dora was inconsiderate and did not listen to me or provide proof on why she could not honor my price adjustment request. She disregarded me and was very defensive.
Service was smooth. Only problem was that I have a $25 gift card added to my Target account and I couldn't use it to help make a purchase of a phone card. Their just like cash supposingly. You would think you could use it just like cash.
I really like this target they have a concession corner with slurpees and starbucks! Also, well target is target! Always great
TL;DR: The visit was good except for 2 things: inconsistencies on Target having cashiers asking you for a Red Visa Credit card and the sampler perfume/cologne aisle not having black nozzles to smell which makes it a 4 out of 5 stars. I was here at around 13:00 on a Thursday, July 13, 2017 buying some beauty products. I wanted to note that in my opinion, Target is a great alternative to Walmart when it comes to organization and layout of their store. Customer service I feel is about the same for both. Product wise, I feel that Target does a better job of keeping their products in neat and appearance condition over Walmart, but pricing wise I think Walmart is more competitive. I feel Target has better quality control over Walmart. With that said, I wanted to discuss a few things about this Target. The service here is good. Workers here are friendly and nice. If you have a question about where an item is located, they will tell you where it is if you ask so nothing has changed on that. I don't think I have encountered a bad experience based on service here. They also have a self-checkout, great alternative if you do not want a cashier to push the Target Visa Credit Card on you. BTW, it is a great credit card if you shop at Target because you save 5%. The items are generally well stocked and easy to find. I think once I asked if they had something and they pointed me to the direction. The store is well laid out. The returns and restrooms are right next to the door on the right side. The clothing items are straight ahead. Keep walking and you will eventually hit the rest of the stuff that you want to buy like groceries, electronics, beauty products, kitchenware, birthday cards, and medications. They also have a coffee shop, a pizza shop and a pharmacy. Pricing wise, Target products are reasonable. Sometimes they have deals on products that if you buy a certain amount, you get a gift card. Other than that, sometimes it is better elsewhere. Just really depends. They have a good return policy if you do not like your item and their lines are usually not that long, with exception of shopping season which is in Nov-December. And speaking of pricing, they have free wifi here so easy to check up on prices before buying too. Now speaking of my visit today, I would say everything was good. The only 2 things that bothered me was the perfume/cologne section. There were many sample bottles to pick from, but none of them had any black nozzle to push to test it. That bothered me because I was going to see if any of them smelled good so I can make a purchase. The other one was the Target Visa card. I know it is not the cashier's fault, but rather it is inconsistent on asking. I have been to several other Target locations, but there will be about 25% chance of them asking you about it. I just do not know why some ask and some do not. It makes me feel like the cashier is trying to meet some sort of quota, which is why I give a 4 out of 5 stars.
