Like too many retailers in the area, this Target has become more of a kennel / pet recreation playground than a store. Management freely permits pet owners to stroll in or ride in their shopping carts — uugggghhh!!! with their dogs of all sizes and freely roam the aisles, despite a California Dept of Health stipulation that forbids animals — except Service Animals — from being allowed in food stores, which a large section of this Target is. Clearly, 90+ percent of the animals here are pets — NOT Service Animals a manager here told me they are not allowed to ask those bringing pets in if they are Service Animals or not — hard to believe…. This store is typically crowded, so when Target allows a menagerie of animals and their collection of criss-crossing leashes to add to the mayhem, it’s just too much and too dangerous for actual shoppers. I abandoned this zoo for Gelsons market nearby on Franklin Ave. a few months back, where they respect and enforce Dept. of Health regulations - no gratuitous animals allowed. Grocery shopping is peaceful, safe and sanitary now.
We were initially steered away from this location due to some bad reviews but I definitely feel like it's the best target in the area. It's big, clean and well-stocked. We had absolutely no issues with parking. Also our cashier was super friendly and efficient. It was a delightful experience, at 9-10am on a Monday.
This target at Hollywood and Western is huge. Barely got time to go through all of it. Great makeup section. The grocery area looked wonderful as well. Parking was really reasonable. 90 minutes free I think with a purchase and they also had electrical charging stations. If you have a electrical vehicle and that was free for 2 hours. Great store and the location seems to get better and better as they increase or clean up that area of town
There's a lot of nothing in this store. I needed 1 cheap lightning cable but there wasn't anything to even look at. The store is mostly homeless people stealing and a few customers.
Note: My Lyft driver asked me how this Target was and inspired the review This Target is great. A pretty decent sized parking garage which is validated through purchase, it’s in an area with quite a few other stores, and it’s fairly large as far as Targets go. Needless to say if you go looking for something specific here you’ll probably find it.
This is the largest target I’ve been to so far. Of course and needless to say it has everything you need, from groceries to pharmaceuticals to clothes to home necessities to cosmetics to school supplies. In addition to a starbucks and a self serve snake bar.
Standard target. Clean and cold, with helpful and friendly staff. Large self-check out area. Located across 2 stories including the garage parking. Elevators and escalators from parking and street level. Good location, across from Petco, Ralph's, Home Depot, Marshalls, and lots of other smaller shops and fast food options, like poke.
This is my favorite Target location by far. Everything is so neat and clean here. This is a larger store, and I love the wide open space of it. Employees are friendly and professional, and I can always find what I need here. Love this location!
Kinda impossible to enjoy shopping here since everything is locked up behind bullet proof glass. You need to look and find a worker every aisle. Not only is it inconvenient, it just feels awkward to have a store clerk watch you as you read the label of items. Fine if you know what you’re coming for and leaving immediately, but not good for a casual stroll to shop for more than one item. I recommend driving the distance to a different Target.
Amazing place! First time entering this already 10 year old structure! I couldn't help but notice how spick and span the store looked after a hectic wave of target shoppers. Ashli Barcenas guided me to where the restroom was and how the validation parking process worked. Its a great location, only 1 Giant floor on the third floor and the next 2 are for parking. The first 15 minutes of parking are free, and if you spend more than $20 in store, your first hour will be validated and itll be attached to your receipt. If you dont spend the $20 youd have to pay the full $8 fee. Lovely location and employees!
